Many of our customers are wondering if LLOYD'Z Performance Products will be available for Indian Challenger. I noticed when I test rode an Indian challenger it was very smooth and responsive. I really thought it would be faster based on all the rave reviews. Likes were the clutch and suspension. Dislikes were the stereo system and tune. Bike ran rough for me . Test rode the new roadmaster limited an it felt out of tune as well. Both ran good until 65+ mph. But my stock HD Ultra ran like crap too. Only difference is there is a ton of aftermarket for an HD.tuners,exhaust, cams etc. One thing I noticed was there is little to none outside of indian parts and can maps. I'm hopeful you can tune these bikes to run right. I saw where one utuber sent their ECM to you guys.

Yeah that looks suspiciously like a bike that I own, I wonder how many of those parts will interchange with the victory,? Well I’m glad to see you as excited about this as I am! And now the pursuit has come out so I’m probably going to partner with about 37k!

Lloyd seemed a little frustrated about the fact that the cam install's not going to be a simple job. Regardless, it will be interesting to see what he's going to come up with. Victory lives on!

@@dennism1919 it was easy on a steel frame Vic if you wanted HOH-VMDR1 cams, but by the sound of it you'll need to drop the engine on the Challenger.

My dealer said they already got a tool to do cam installs. No stage one cams released yet , but wouldn't be surprised to see soon coming .

This is why Harley’s are still a Tuners dream...the ease of getting into the engine and the classic Push Rod design. In any event...The Indian Challenger is now center stage. Although Harley’s woken partially up with it’s 128 and 131ci kits. Competition seems to do that.

I am so damn excited for this bike and it’s the first one to do that since I bought my victory in 13. This will be my new bike in a couple months. Can’t wait to slap a bunch of your stuff on it too. Might even come to you for a tune. PA to NY would be a nice road trip.

You'd have to go to Charlotte, NC. But you can also do an RTC also.

Mr. Greer, I love your enthusiasm, man! I have ridden this bike, and while I love the new engine and gearbox (though I fear there may be a HUGE ECU bug that is gonna cause a lot of havok, it kind of already has) The damned rider triangle still sucks ass, just like the Chief platform does. If you are 5'10'' or above, this bike aint for you. Apparently not quite enough of our beloved Victory DNA has come over, which is sad. So I will keep my Vision, thank you very much. But it will be interesting to see how much more you can get out of this engine. If anyone can do it, I feel you can.

Dennis M The rider triangle is better than that of a Harley on both the Challenger and Chief chassis ! ! I can't speak for the Victory and what you're used to but not everybody will so emphatically share your view.

@@TheTripleDubya I agree that the Challenger does provide a little more room than it's predecessor, but not quite enough. My feet still run right through the floorboards and I can't quite get comfortable on it. Also, with no lowers the wind blast that your legs get is off-putting to me. It just doesn't compare to the Vision. So while I like the drive train and the brakes quite a bit, the rest of the bike doesn't do it for me. But that is just me. Many others seem to like it just fine, which is a good thing.

I wonder if it's a one piece from the road testing. Maybe that was their intention to make a two piece with side access but it just wouldn't seal well so...cheaper to redesign the valve cover than the entire head casting.

Hey Lloyd Nice video, I like how you are going to change this bike up. Can't wait to see what you do to it. Honest question here. I am ready to pull the trigger on one and buy a Challenger but I have a concern. The throttle grip on the bars. Every model I looked at, felt loose, plastic, and cheap. Does this affect your ride and or confidence when riding. Also any ideas upgrading the whole throttle grip?

@@shisno314 so far from what I've seen NOBODY has torn open the top covers yet and/or done a cam install. Seems like a design flaw how one must drop the motor to get access to the top of the cylinder valve train. When Harley Davidson was designing the Evo engine in 1983 they made the rocker covers a 2 piece design much like in the twin cam's. Well... you couldn't pull it apart to gain access to the valves so they opted for a 3 piece design of which went into production in 1984. Seems like Indian should reconfigure the rocker covers in my opinion but I'm sure they wont. They're all about using less gaskets and seals on their engines.
