I am lucky enough to own a bobber Larry personally built. My dad knew him and paid him for a pan head build on a 57. Dad passed away and I got the bike and it rides awesome for what it is. Larry was one of very few who could build a functional custom bike. I’ve ridden it from Seattle to Vegas no problem. Every other custom bike I’ve had sucked
he was an awesome man, and because of him don't ever forget the name awesome Adam, I'm will be out there one day, like Larry when I set my mind to something it gets done. ....RIP...BROTHER
I cant believe that cox and keino didnt know that magnetos running from the generator hole have been around on factory race bikes since at least the early 60s, morris magnetos probanly has a couple on a shelf, just bolt it on. Plus they are a short drive away
see this ; 36:30 discovery channel misses out...... on those human parts, where there is no script, when a shop becomes a shop. And tht is where the love is. In the broadness of working in a shop. And that is a beaute in and of itself, to see people working, and not always smiling for the camera.
Hi there Guys, thank you for giving people like me ,the chance to watch a team of Guys build an Amazing Motorcycle, all hand built, Excellent building friends & carrying on Larry's work, is so beautiful 😊😊😊
my old lady scored me a ridged frame from a swapmeet and this build is so close to what i had in mind now to just find the rest of the parts and one day it will be on the road .R.I.P. indian Larry
I don't know why they are making a big deal out of driving the Magneto out of the generator hole, Morris Magneto makes a bolt on unit for that, either they want to re-invent the wheel, or they have a beef with Morris Magnetos
Hey man loved this vid, very inspirational. I noticed you did the music for the vid, could you so happen to able to put up a song list from this vid, some of the jams were excellent, nice selection.
Paddle Popinator hey thanks....i really enjoyed this project from the shooting to the edit it was a blast!!!!! This project was done awhile ago and i'm afraid i don't have a play list. I live in Miami and do a lot of electronica music.... here's a video of some stuff i did you might enjoy.... also i you feel inclined, chek out our website....138hurtz.com/music.htm THANK YOU for the nice words....enjoy your day!!!
Xr 750s used generator hole driven magnetos since the early 60's. One phonecall to morris magnetos would find out he probably has one on the shelf. They're trying to re-invent something that already exsists!
Too bad they did not know about the factory TT Panheads with generator drive Wico mags. Morris now has generator drive mags too. Seems like they were trying to drive the tiny mag gear, when the gear guy should have made that much larger. It has worked since the late 1940's.
Why so many comments on Indian Larry from peeps who would never build anything in their lives time all this Indian Larry be proud I think not as these two try to get their ego sorted and not the bike
R.I.P Indian Larry. Real nice build, I like the lines of the bike...but, where’s the front brake and mud guard? Is this a prop it in your lounge room and look at it or a practical ride it 24/7 bike? Lots of shite bikes built for looks these days, not many real rides especially out of Orange County. Perhaps a build a bike and ride it through all weather conditions for a year as your only transport contest would sort the men from the boys. But that’s the world we live now I guess, imposters everywhere making money off of what used to be a lifestyle.
All I can hear is the stupid music over everything, can hardly hear anyone speaking, love these shows but can't watch any more of this one as I can't hear what they are saying!!!!!!
I not sure who’s who but the guy standing up was all for let’s do it whereas his friend had no faith in his ability or his friends was this a exercise in racism and hoot avoid the mag idea from whitey was a sound engineer based I opinion not on what mamma or daddy think
