This is one Special Motorcycle. Not the type of bike that would usually catch my eye but this one did, (I mean look at that paint job), and then when I got to ride it it showed me there was somewhere in my cold, speedy heart for a big lazy cruiser like this one. Go and watch • Franklin Motorcycles |... first as it'll explain how this came about. I review a 2018 Indian Roadmaster Elite Limited Edition 111 cu in. This is a first ride review and my first time riding a bike this large and heavy so it was a great experience all round.

There was nothing wrong with the screen btw, it just disagreed with my camera settings!! It works perfectly :) Hope you enjoy the review and don't forget to leave a comment and say hello! Also it was pointed out to me that this is the perfect commuting machine for anywhere that isn't Ireland and doesn't have filtering. An excellent point made by an amigo :) I was referring to commuting here. Where I could not filter :)

What a beast!!!! Not my cup of tea but I appreciate it for what it is and I’m now wondering how much it would cost to gold leaf my FJR. I’ve never taken a cruiser for a ride but now I’m tempted...just to have a go!!

A.) that’s the cleanest windscreen I’ve ever seen on a motorcycle ever, (and I love that it’s adjustable, finally I could own a bike and not immediately have to buy a new windshield. B.) I commute on a bike that is comparable in size and I don’t think I could go back to backpacks and strapping stuff on the seat, though that bike is awfully pretty to leave out in the rain while you’re toiling away at a job to pay for it. C.) I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t own it if I lived in Ireland...Kentucky however...

Oh yeah man the whole bike is clean as hell! It's in mint condition. The elctronic windscreen is so cool! Yeah I realised after I posted it, mainly due to discord chats, that my commuting comment is very Ireland centric. It's too big for here but would be perfect where there are actual roads. Yeah I think it's too large for Ireland sadly. I'd still love a Chieftain Dark Horse

i have the original, was replaced with flip screen because it is lower and works better I know $200 but I got a great deal so I spent the added 3k to make it mine

Gold in the bike. Madness. Bloody gorgeous bit of craftsmanship even though like yourself it wouldn't be my style. Another great review. Any chance of letting us know the exact price? :P Savage photos at the end again there.

Yup, actual golf leaf.....Like I was genuinely riding around more than a years wages :D Yeah the work that's in it is genuinely impressive. Gracias :) Haha I think it's currently for sale for 33.5k or so. Not 100% on what they are new cus stupid Irish import laws etc. New in America they're 37k dollars anyway. Thaaaaanks....I'll get some photos of you on the bike at some stage sure. Some nice flybys.

Ah sure I suppose if you have the money why not! If I had spare cash it wouldn't be spare for long :P Just joined the group, I'd forgotten :/ I'm not I have to go up home....I might try get back down for it but I also have a load of stitches in my back since Monday so am not supposed to be technically riding a bike or doing much but we'll see :P Cus that'd be class.

i bought one last in Jan for 26K brand new added fishtails flip screen heel shifter and decat added fuelmoto power commander and remapped for optimum performance .......

In the US? Man they're so much cheaper there avoiding customs charges. Sounds excellent, I'd imagine it's a lot more fun to ride with a bot of extra power.

Thanks man! Haha I still love my Saab don't worry :) It needs a clutch soon :/ Yeah absolutely if money was no object it'd be in the garage. The paint on this one is just amazing.

I haven't ridden anything like this. The closest would be WEB's Harley. I loved the torque but was not at all comfortable.

Every thing is the same for the engine and most everything except for the paint and sound system.

@@TheGorillaBiker I do agree with that. I bought the 2018 Roadmaster instead if the elite I just could not justify the extra 10 k for a paint job and as beautiful as it is.

@@icebrakernh Yeah 10k for paint as nice as it is, is a bit steep for most people. I couldn't afford 5k for a bike so it's definitely out for me :D
