Since it's aroma- it won't hinder your cooking process, it will still be complete. By the way it's just seasoning but, again you can do the basic if you r really going to make it.
Thanks for your clarification. I do sometimes despair when Indian cooking channels say 'garam marsala' without specifying what is in the mix... so vague about such an important ingredient! It has a massive influence on the final taste of the dish. Regardless, I love Indian food and like to cook Indian recipes... with varying degrees of success!.

Never been this disappointed with a recipe from this channel. You don't have a clarity of what are you making. This was neither an Indian Soup or Shorba nor a chinese preparation. Need less to say is not healthy because of the addition of cornflour slurry. You can't call a soup clear soup if you are adding cornflour slurry. I respect you for coming up with a recipe but the approach seems completely confused and the name misleading.
