Yes, when I first put them on it was actually pretty bad. Once I got it tuned it was better than I started though. I have switched to a 2:1 exhaust now am waiting to get it tuned. Did you see my video on the sound comparison from 2:1 and TD?
@ridewithtwoindians I have the Freedom true duals on my 2016 Vintage. I actually like the Indian slip-ons better ascetically. I noticed you have collars were the headers and slipons meet... Where did you get those.. I want the same setup..
Look for the video I did on the sound comparison between the true duals and the 2:1 system. The 2:1 has a much deeper sound without the high frequency noise. I agree the true duals were disappointing.
@@TwoIndians ya I've been a lot about that would love to decat but dont want to loose the power but it does sound good. I'll probably just do the stage 1 with the Freedom slip-ons and leave the stock header for now.
Isn’t that the point of a comparison to show how two different properties produce different results? I’ve long since replaced those headers with a 2:1 system that I much prefer. Deeper tone, not as loud. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoIndians Yes, thanks for the comparison, but I was implying the one bike has a stage 2 or 3 (cam work and different fuel system) that the other bike doesn't..so some people might think Freedom Exhaust is totally responsible for the timing/cam and sound too.. that's all I was trying to point out. But yea, the Freedom exhaust would be fun for a week or so, then I'd be tired of it too. I heard a chieftain with Vance & Hines turn-downs slip-ons that sounding just right, for my tastes.
Yeah, had the freedom performance exhaust, sucked. The sound was crap and raspy. Best bet is to buy the D&D Billet Cat 2 into 1. The sound from my Billet Cats sing to me unlike the freedom performance crap.
