Hi RU-vidrs, I'm glad you all have enjoyed my bloopers video of the past seven years. Attend Indiana Diving Camp this summer! Learn more here: www.indianadivi... Best, Marc
I was in linear algebra class with him about three years ago when he first let us know this video existed. His hesd shape is quite unique so he's easy to find XD. This man was so entertaining when he taught us.
In a lot of diving wells, there is something called a bubble machine. It forces air up to the surface of the water and releases surface tension. It basically allows divers to mess up a dive and not hurt themselves by creating a "soft landing." It also will shoot you up from the bottom if you are at the bottom of the well when it is turned on. What you saw was a bubble machine.
I watched this more than once and swore I saw a friend.. I even made my mom watch it to see if she thought the same. Then low and behold, I realize it's his video! Love ya David!
lmao this is tops,@2:45 he stuffs the diving board then looks around to see if anyone saw it,no one sees it so he just casualy walks away haha,so many funny ones this is a good vid well done deserve all of ur 6million views
One thing I don't miss about diving is that pause underwater after a solid crash where your body's trying to assess the damage. The bruises were cool though...
I could watch 3:39 to 3:42 a million times and laugh every time i watch it. It is so funny, just look at the expression on his face when he puts it up. Hahaha
@HawkFish707 Yeah, those are the bubblers. They shoot air up through the water so the surface tension breaks and the blagh it makes the water soft so it doesn't hurt when you smack. It's tight cuz when i went to Indianna diving academy, you'd ask for bubbles on the 1 meter springboard and they'd press a button and it activates the bubbles.
This video is awesome straight belly and back flops... i DID NOT want to see anyone hit their head on the diving board or anything like that. nice vid!!
I am a diver and a girl on my team went to IU's diving camp to learn a back 1 1/2 ss. She said it didn't really help. But I think that everyone learns differently and that maybe they just were showing her a way she couldn't do.
how can people not give this video a thumbs up, i mean really, I dive, we all screwup, its probably a bunch of grammas going i dont want my baby to see this, lol
