🌟 What an amazing adventure! 🏞 The Indiana Dunes State and National Parks truly are hidden gems of the Midwest. 🌅 The breathtaking nature and stunning landscapes make it a must-visit destination. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with us! 👍😊
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it. Lots of hidden gems in the midwest for sure. We mainly enjoy the ones here in Michigan but it's fun to get outside of our state whenever possible and enjoy those as well.
Great day to exploring with your video looking so beautiful Park for hiking and training I'm very enjoyable to watching your video thanks you so much for your showing me around please have a great day from Angkor Wat temple ❤ 9:52
Hi Dennis and Michelle. Thanks for taking us along with you. So many great views. I always love those information boards on the trails. That was some climb, lots of stairs. Have a great weekend.
Yes, those boards can be so helpful! That was a lot of stairs. Especially after a long winter of being a bit too lazy. LOL Thanks so much for watching!

We've stayed at Indiana Dunes SP twice and hope to return again. It's a fantastic location. Glad you took us to the national park campground, we've never stayed there for the same reasons you picked the state park. We've completed the Dune Challenge once. There also a great distillery in the area called Duneland Distillery.
Thanks for the tip! Yes, we need to go back to complete the Dune Challenge when it isn't quite so hot. The temperatures jumped about 40 degrees from what we were used to when we were there and we just weren't acclimated to them at all... as you can tell by our huffing and puffing in the video. LOL The state campground was really nice, though, wasn't it?!?
Such a fabulous walk tour, Indiana Dunes State and National Parks a wonderful place to visit. thank you for filming and allowing us to see. Stay connected....
What an great adventure! It's a truly beautiful place to explore, and the hiking in the breathtaking nature adds an extra layer of delight. Thank you for sharing this wonderful experience. 👍
Thanks for sharing guys! This park is on our short list. We also love when there are trails right from the campground. Indiana weather sounds like Ohio weather! There is a Baldy Mtn in Breckenridge, CO too! There were a lot of steps! We are new subs and will be going back to watch your MI content as we are headed there for the first time in July! - Safe travels guys- Mike & Shelley
Thanks so much. Oh, that's so fun! Where in Michigan are you headed? I'd be happy to make some suggestions for you if you can't find what you're looking for!
Wow that shot at 2:39 was stunning!! Looked incredibly productive and the sights are so beautiful 😁 that walk you did looked really hot 😂 but a nice short exercise with some rewarding views. Took some cute selfies too 😉
Thanks, Keith. Yes, we love the photo Dennis got. What a treat that we could even see the skyline from here we were because the atmospheric conditions have to be just right from what we were hearing. Yes, hikes are always worth it even if we're huffing and puffing during them. Thanks for watching!
Hi guys this was so relaxing to watch and see what's over there. I loved Pirter beach , the sunrise was beautiful and that great marsh area looked so nice. Good to compare the campgrounds. We love near a lot of beaches hete in North Wales and the worst thing is walking on sand. Dunes are definitely challenging 🤭Great to watch :) ~ Anna
Yes, sand dunes are a beast to climb. I was definitely grateful for the stairs at this one which helped a bunch. The sunrise was so peaceful that morning, wasn't it? I just love enjoying a pink sky while sipping my coffee. Thanks again for your support!
Great video capturing our backyard, lol! We love seeing someone else's perspective - it's easy to take places like the dunes for granted when you live there. There is a lot of heavy industry like you said, so we are thankful for these protected places. Feel free to reach out if you are in the area again!
I didn't realize this was your backyard. We aren't too far away from each other then. We only live a few hours from here. Yes, I'm glad they have protected what they could in the area. Makes me even more grateful for all of the protected spaces in Michigan along the shoreline.
Dennis and Michelle, for only bring there a couple days you came away with an excellent photograph. We enjoyed the video. It was a good overview of the area. Thanks for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels.
We were blessed with beautiful conditions on the one morning we were there, that's for sure! Dennis went out for almost every sunrise and sunset on our trip this past weekend and it was a lot more of a struggle to get the weather conditions he was hoping for... so we definitely know what it feels like to have to work for a shot. Thanks for your continued support!
Really enjoyed seeing this. I have a video coming up soon from my visit to the park - but I had a rainy day and it didn't go as planned. It was great to see some different sections of the park in your video.
So glad you enjoyed it. Yes, we wanted to see as much as possible of what the park had to offer even though it was a short trip for us. Hopefully you'll get a chance to go back when the weather is better... but not too hot so you can enjoy the dunes!
Yes, I'm sure 85 feels a lot different to you than it does to us. That's a pretty warm day in Michigan. Especially with snow days before and after it. LOL Thanks for the kind words. We didn't realize how out of shape we had gotten over the winter until we tried that dune challenge. Ha ha ha!
Yes, it was a nice place to visit and the dunes weren't crowded. The beach WAS more crowded than we like but we aren't huge beach goers, anyway, so it was fine by us. It was pretty empty at sunrise!
What a fun adventure… You guys rocked that Dune climb… I don’t think I would’ve made it up the stairs. Great information and beautiful photography… Thanks to both… 😊✌️
Ha ha ha! I had no idea how out of shape we had gotten over the winter. Fortunately, we spend 5 days in the South Haven area this past weekend and were able to walk a lot farther with less huffing and puffing. LOL Thanks for the kind words, though!
I have never been there. Interesting areas to walk around and rest on the beach by the sea :-) Great. It's just a waste of time for traffic jams on the road. I had a nice time with you. Sorry for my English :-)
Yes, it would be nice if the parks would rethink the traffic flow and figure out different entrances for campers so we could more easily come and go from our campsites.
Hello. I live in Korea, and it's a distance that you can go anywhere in one day in Korea. I can't travel in the vast plains like the United States for days and months. I think it's a wonderful life. It's like a dream for him.
Yes, we are blessed. It sounds like Korea is about the size of one of our states. Lots of diversity and beauty here. Hopefully you can come enjoy it someday! Thanks for watching!
Finally getting to this video after back in the grind all week. Still have yet to check out your last video. Just getting out the first time for the year is always a good thing.
Yes, we've been on a couple of trips, now, and it feels good to get back out and stretch our legs. We've been really busy here as well so we know how that feels. We appreciate your continued support and hope you're able to take a break and get a trip in yourself, soon! Take care!
