Rick Clark, founder of Farm Green and prominent regenerative no-till farmer from West Central Indiana, shares his passionate support and anticipation of the upcoming premiere on February 25th of the documentary film Common Ground, showing in Indianapolis at the Kan-Kan Cinema & Restaurant, followed by a Q&A co-hosted by Farm Aid: www.farmaid.org/blog/join-us-...
Common Ground is the sequel to the widely acclaimed Kiss the Ground, which had a profound impact on over 1 billion viewers worldwide and spurred the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to allocate $20 billion toward soil health initiatives.
Directed and produced by the filmmakers Joshua Tickell and Rebecca Harrell Tickell, known for their works like “Fuel” and “The Big Fix,” the award-winning Common Ground has emerged as one of the top 10 highest-grossing limited-release feature documentaries of 2023.
Narrated by a star-studded cast including Laura Dern, Jason Momoa, Rosario Dawson, Ian Somerhalder, Woody Harrelson, and Donald Glover, the film skillfully intertwines investigative journalism with poignant personal narratives from front-line advocates of the food movement, including farmers, ranchers, researchers, activists, leaders, and beyond.
It lays bare the intricate web of money, power, and politics that perpetuates the flaws in our broken food system, shedding light on the unjust practices that have shaped our current agricultural landscape, where farmers from diverse backgrounds are grappling with dire consequences while endeavoring to feed the population sustainably.

Rick Clark's work has been amazing. Look up his full presentations on farm show channels. I'm in my third year of "no inputs". Also needs Lofthouse's Landrace Gardening techniques to adapt the seeds you use to the process. Commercial seeds have adapted to high inputs and thus need high inputs by growers to thrive.
