Exactly and as long as Microsoft continues delivering 4-5 1st party titles on Gamepass ultimate every yr i don’t care what goes even if its day and date on PS5 I’m playing all these games at a much more affordable price and i have access to Nintendo and PlayStation games not available on their platforms via Xbox dev mode

Moves like these are why third party devs treat Xbox like an afterthought. BG3 delayed, Black Myth Wukong delayed without a release window, expect more "delays" in the future. I won't be surprised if Rockstar decides to delay the Xbox release of GTA 6. May be once MS loses that fat 30% cut from GTA 6 sales they would get their head outside of their behind.

My problem is if Disney forced them to do multiplat why isn’t X-men going to be on Xbox at all more than likely. Why have we not gotten Spider-Man. All Xbox games go to PlayStation but Xbox gets nothing it demeans the Xbox system. And it seems more and more like the console will lose all of third party support soon

Did you forget how Sony paid over 600 million in order to use Marvel characters. For example, On top of the 200 million plus they spent on developing Spiderman 2. Also Disney literally takes 59 percent of the profits. Do you think Microsoft would spend that much to use a Disney game?? But I do understand your frustration with all these old Xbox games going to PS, while we get nothing from Sony.

My response to the argument "What's the point of getting an Xbox if I can play PlayStation and Xbox games on a PlayStation": only a small percentage of people actually play exclusives, the majority of games people play are multiplat, which you can get much cheaper if they are on Gamepass. Also if you pay full price for a game on Xbox, you have access to it in your library forever, for generations to come, even if it is delisted from the store. However if you pay full price for a PlayStation game, you are essentially renting it as it will only work for 1 or 2 generations as they don't do backwards compatibility like Microsoft. The best you can hope for is a remaster of a game you previously purchased that Sony will sell back to you.

Phil said the console war was over when Redfall dropped. This came before the 4 games being released. He told the truth. And it is case by case (especially with a Disney IP), and business needs can change from year to year, or even month to month. Phil has been vague and broad deliberately. Microsoft's business is GamePass. That is their strategy. They are a software company first and have always been. Fans may want them to spell everything out, but that is unwise, especially when your competition is never doing the same. Add to that the constant pressures of the FTC, and the expectations from shareholders to make bigger returns than what billion-dollar companies would make or consider great, and you can understand Phil's business shrewdness. If most people were in Phil's shoes, they would have never been as candid as he has been. I think people's expectations of how open Microsoft should be about business plans are unrealistic.

Isn't Spencer a Windows guy to begin with? So he doesn't really care about xbox. Phil Spencer is basically a politician. I am just upset about the way they did it. It's funny that the only Halo game that hasn't been ported to pc has been Halo 5. So maybe Halo 5 will be the only game that will stay xbox exclusive. I understand Hellblade 2 going to Playstation, but Gears and Halo make no sense. I don't understand why Playstation would want Forza to complete and beat Gran Turismo.

J'ai les deux consoles mais je préfère la concurrence si pour que Xbox garde des exclusivités et garde l'intérêt des éditeurs Xbox doit arrêter le gamepass alors que le gamepass s'arrête et continuons à acheter nos jeux comme avant, franchement à ce rythme je conseillerai aux joueurs et je parle des vrais joueurs Xbox boycotter cette marque pour montrer à Microsoft que vous n'êtes pas des pigeons ou des joueurs de seconde zone parce que je dois avouer que le mois de septembre ne finira pas je vendrai ma Xbox et garderai ma PS5 vu que tout les jeux Xbox viendront sur PlayStation alors resté Xbox sur serai juste stupides de ma part avec l'argent gagné par la vente de ma console Xbox j'achèterai des jeux que j'ai pas encore eu mais bon ce qui arrive à Xbox est aussi en grande partie la faute des joueurs Xbox qui acceptent de voir leur marque se faire détruire et vous de vous faire humilier 🫤

OMG just let it go. “Didn’t give Xbox a chance” 🙄 How are exclusives working out on PS5? And you think Xbox is just going to magically pull it off with a smaller install base? You’re getting upset that Xbox is making the smart moves to make sure their games make money and studios stay in business. If Xbox ever turns into Sony and forces me to buy their box to play their games that’s the day I’m done with Xbox.

It will never happen. It's a one-way road so even though it makes financial sense for Microsoft, it makes no sense for me to invest into a company that doesn't give a damn about the person investing to it, and for that reason I'm out

Bro most xbox fans don't care about this its just the vocal minority on social media making a fuss. Let other platforms pay full price for our games it all benefits xbox in the long run. Dont you think this has a lot to do with the ongoing FTC case as this game was in development for PS5 and they could use it against Microsoft in their appeal.
