This week in Indiana Jones, we get a look at the star-studded U.S. red carpet premiere of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and Kristin sits down with cast and crew to find out who may have brought home a souvenir or two from set.
I'm so excited for this film. Just wish they would market it more. They put so much into advertising Star Wars but Indy feels like it's barely got anything
@@caomhan84 I mean compared to KOTCS, this movies marketing and merchandising has been seriously lacking. No novels or comics being reprinted, no lego games being made, remade, or rereleased, and no new lego sets for the film. It’s like they don’t even want a new generation of Indy fans
@@DazzlingMrScratch They have a Dial of Destiny Lego thing coming out. Stuff has been released through Hallmark. Barnes and Noble reprinted the books Clothing tie-ins with at least 3 companies. They are releasing new toys with Hasbro. I think they haven't done it YET for Dial of Destiny because of spoilers, but they're coming. Yes, it might be less than Crystal Skull (I distinctly remember the Indiana Jones marshmallow cereal in 2008, among other things) but it's out there. Every time my brother goes to his local mall in Florida he shows me the massive posters they have set up. And the lego sets....I've seen images. They're coming.
Harrison Ford the legend, one of my all time favorite actors, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny was an amazing adventure, Thank you for making my childhood special with your amazing movies 🤠
Yeah it's sucks that nobody seems to like it, and they say it's boring and that phoebe waller bridge basically is the lead actor and not Harrison Ford.
So reports are the film is slow in the middle and the ending might annoy people. And the de-aging is not great. Did Lucasfilm NOT learn from the horrible rendition of Luke at the end of S2? Deep faking is the way. We'll have to wait for a fan edit of the film to see how great is could have been. This is worrying for fans of Mangold and what he'll do with SW. Its incredible though that something made over 40 years ago (Raiders) at a 20th of the budget is 10 times far superior than any Indy sequel ever was.
The deepfaker on youtube "shamook" got hired by lucasfilm to do the deepfake on this movie the problem might be overdoing it by touching it up with cgi afterwards
Just wanted to say to Lucasfilm that some (not all, but some) of the fans in costume invited to attend the premiere were posting leaked footage from the movie just until few months ago, here on RU-vid or on other social media platforms, not giving one single damn about your IP, spoilering away and simply infringing copyright laws just for views. On the other hand, hard working individuals who spent over a year working on the post production of Dial of Destiny, keeping their mouth shut and pouring hard work into this film, were not invited to the premiere. That is outright shameful and unjust.
Completely agree, Kristin. Dial of Destiny looks incredible, and we've got our tickets. Cannot wait to watch it! Kristin and Pheobe look like they would be amazing drinking buddies together. 🍷 🥂
@@dictorfeelgood Look at you replying to every positive comment. LOL. No one is buying into your lame group think of wanting to hate a movie that hasn’t released in theaters. If you don’t wanna see the movie, pass on it, and move on. Why are you wasting your time here? You’re the exact definition of not having a life or girlfriend. Sad.
First what?? Not to leave a comment since you didn't actually do that. And considering there were only 3 comments in the first hour, not really worth the bother, was it...
Indy is going to be degraded so Phoebe can shine. Why waste the money? If it's not broke, don't fix it. "Raiders of the Lost Ark," "Temple of Doom," and "Last Crusade" were perfect.
Indiana Jones is Back in Action; then put out to pasture by Kathleen Kennedy much like Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. It is dangerous for male heroes in Lucasfilm movies. Good thing Blade Runner 2049 wasn't a Lucasfilm movie otherwise Decker would be dead; Kathleen Kennedy would has seen to it.
Don't these people ever have enough money not to humiliate themselves in their final days. This movie is an insult to the first ones, especially the first one.
The pure, unbridled, unjustified optimism in these comments is making me think most of them must be bots. There is no way you can look at the news around this movie and possibly think 'what a good movie'. Then again i assume RT will use their new verified reviews system to over inflate the score like they've done with all the other recent Disney releases. Heck, i doubt people will even see this comment since there are so many comments here you can't even see. 🤡
