Not from and in Berlin but Frankfurt, but the Indians I've met here are such nice, assured and integrated people that all I can do is concur with the other people! Best regards Raoul G. Kunz
The Indians in Berlin refuse to integrate. They don’t even bother to learn five German words. They live in their bubble (Prenzlauer Berg, Kreuzberg) where there are almost no Germans anyway, so they don’t even interact with Germans.
@@kugelkopf2987 Frankfurt is overall a really nice city besides the trainstation there is a lot of beautiful corner but its still the most dangerous city in Germany because of things like the train station
I have never heard of any problems with Indians. They are friendly people who are willing to learn the language, find a job, integrate into German culture and at the same time share their culture without being intrusive and demanding.
@@lorenzsabbaer7725 Me too. I've lived in the UK for over a decade until 2018 and I have met many Indians. And they are among the most friendly and open people.
Da habe ich in Berlin aber ganz andere Erfahrungen gemacht. Ich habe selten so prätentiöse und eingebildete Leute gesehen. Die denken wirklich, wir rollen den roten Teppich für die aus. Sprechen kein Wort Deutsch und wollen auch kein Deutsch lernen und da frage ich mich, wie die hier überhaupt überleben?! Wie unterschreiben die Verträge, wie kaufen die im Supermarkt ein, hä?! Die halten es für eine Selbstverständlichkeit, dass sie mit ihren nicht vorhandenen Deutschkenntnissen einen Job kriegen. Was ist das für ein Gedankengang? Wenn ich in eine anderes Land ziehen möchte, lerne ich die Sprache DAVOR. Aber bei denen fehlt der Integrationswille. Die leben in ihrer Expat-Parallelwelt. Sie kennen uns nicht und meinen trotzdem, sie könnten uns beurteilen. Ich sehe in den sozialen Medien so viele Inder in DE, die diffamierende Videos über DE und Deutsche posten
as far as i remember, the indian community is the fastest growing community in the USA currently, and in germany it is one of the fastest too (refugee communities take the top spots there)
I know only a few Indian people here in Germany. Good people. The older ones have been in Germany for a long time. Some are educated, others are simple workers without higher education, but they are still intelligent. And they all speak perfect German :-)
The largest Dravida temple in Europe is in Hamm. It is even the second largest Hindu temple in Europe. As far as I know, it is the "headquarters" of the Hindu community in Germany. A 14-day temple festival is held there once a year.
I have been to Hamm, visiting the temple and eating with everyone (my first time sitting and eating on the floor ;->). I remember that it smelled very nice in the temple and it was very colourful and I appreciated the bananas and other fruits which were the donation to the Gods. Suits me fine beeing vegan.
As a German, I had Indians both as co-students in university and as co-workers at work. A good friend also married an Indian and they now live in India together. I like the Indian culture and LOVE the Indian food - so flavorful. (though often very spicy 🥵)
As a German, I love India. I can't speak for all compatriots. The Indians have NEVER caused problems in Germany in the last 35 years, since I was born. And although they have problems in their country, we also have them in a different form. And India could be something better than a ball from Russia. I hope the Germans are nice to you new people from India! And I want to say, Indian women are beautiful too! There is also a lady sitting here. ;-)
Don't exaggerate. I partly agree, that it makes more sense to completely mix from the beginning. But, c'mon, to be honest, most people from other countries and cultures do exactly the same. Including Germans abroad.
@@jdktoo Machst du hier nicht gerade den Fehler, dass du das falsch herum vergleichst!? Es geht doch darum, wie sich Deutsche im Ausland lebend Verhalten, und nicht Deutsche in deutschen Bubblen. Also ich leb seit fast 12 Jahren im Ausland, in verschiedenen Ländern, und hab mehr als genug dt. getroffen, die ultra viel untereinander abhängen. Trifft jetzt nicht auf mich zu, aber definitiv der Fall. Aber, wie gesagt, kann ich bei vielen Nationalitäten beobachten.
Jap, da hast du recht. ALLE Inder, die ich in Berlin getroffen habe, bilden sich ein, sie wären wunder wer und denken, wir rollen den roten Teppich für die aus. Wollen die besten Jobs abgreifen, können aber keine Deutschkenntnisse vorweisen. Die leben in ihren Expat-Bubbles (P-Berg, Kreuzburg), wo eh schon kaum Deutsche leben, weswegen die überhaupt nicht mit Deutschen interagieren und keinen Anreiz haben, Deutsch zu sprechen. Die sind generell frech. Ich sehe so viele Inder auf Instagram, die uns in ihren Videos verspotten und sich über alles in DE beschweren. Dreistes Volk
