I love how everyone is focused on whether this is metal and can't.focus on how beautiful this song is..

Man, I wish this community would be more accepting. This isn't metal, it was never labeled to be metal, so don't make hissy fits and just enjoy the music. It's something new, it's kind of cool, nothing spectacular, so you could just stay for awhile and move on without letting the whole world know how upset you are.

FACT:Every midnight,metalheads put on their tutus and fuzzy slippers and dance to Indica.After that they drink chocolate with marshmellows and go to sleep with their favourite teddy bear :)

I remember when I first watched this video on tv, many years ago. I liked it so much I always remembered it. The lyrics are very particular, and congratulations to the band and the makers of the video

Hardcore metalhead here- this is absolutely beautiful. I understand if you don't like it, since it's not pure metal, but you can at least recognize and appreciate the artistry that went into this.

Even when I prefer their music sung in Finnish, I can't help tapping my fingers on the table to their music. These girls know how to make good music. Simple, yes, but very effective. I listen to all kinds of genres. And of course I knew about Indica through Nightwish, who make a much more elaborated music. Yet, I simply got hooked but their tunes, their melodies. I don't understand a single word they sing, still the magic of music conveys this feeling of wellbeing and comfort. Kudos to Indica!

I discovered this band years ago and am just now wandering by to listen again. People, if it doesn’t suit you, that’s fine. Find something that does. Nobody who enjoys it is going to be influenced by your opinion because taste is personal. Another person’s taste has literally nothing to do with you. Now, see, if you spend five minutes telling everyone you don’t like it, that’s five minutes you’ve utterly wasted that could be spent listening to something you DO like. Everybody wins.

11 years on and I still Love this masterpiece. I miss her gentle voice and their sweet sound. And I listen to CARCASS.

It's such a shame the real musical talent of the world is not as heard as much as it should be, this band is ubelieveably underated beyond belief and I've been listening to them for 2 years!

Es ist ebenso wie "Islands of Light" ein Beweis dafür, dass Indica nicht nur auf finnisch wunderschön singen kann. Ich kann nur hoffen, dass auch noch andere Lieder als "Vuorien taa" und "Valoissa" übersetzt werden. Weiter so!

I much prefer the Finnish versions of their songs... when sung in English, the lyrics are just kinda awkward sounding to be honest. Just sounds like another typical pop song and loses it's uniqueness. I really don't see why they thought they should redo their songs in English... :/

I'm a metalhead and industrial freak but I like this song.

Yeah... when I was researching symphonic bands Indica came up, but this was before they cut an album in English, so I was not at the moment made aware of the mistake. That said, I'm more than happy to have stumbled into Indica again. Love this stuff.

The finnish bands rise this times, between Nightwish and Hammerfall. With Indica, I think that the perfection is reached.

There's something magic in this song

I can't believe some of the intolerant comments I see here. As a musical omnivour, with a wide musical palatte, I can say this is good music as any other form of the art. While it is true some, so called, musicians do not further the cause of art, give introspection or calm ones nerves, that cannot be said about the Indica performance of this song with it's good vocals, poignant lyrical content and melody structure. Thanks for posting this regardless of genre.

They should call this Reformantic Rock. Reform because it relates to your imagination. antic as in romantic because it moves you. Rock firm, solid and sometimes hard but keeps on rolling a way away :) ) )

Indica is on NB because Indica is awesome, and awesome is NB's main export.

Some of this band's music is heavy, and many of the lyrics are dark. But that is only being with the Finnish words. I am also loving their new english music. I am sorry for a bad english.

Awesome song, not too many all female bands that rock out there.

How the hell are people squabbling about this band?! One: They're gorgeous! But music-wise, they've got such a unique style to them. Now, im the sort who listens to stuff like Lordi, Nightwish, Slayer, Iron Maiden and SOnata Arctica all day through, but this band, even tohugh they're not as metal, have some great songs. Waht more can you expect from a producer like Tuomas Holopainen? This is just fantastic.
