Am I the only one who cried at the very end when the music started playing and when the guy started singing and also seeing.the carving on the tree and when the fox runited with her pups
Loved this game. Just posted my last videos on this that I shot a month ago because when I did this, I’d just lost a best friend and man I thought this game would help, but the ending was so brutal. The writing on the tree concept is awesome though since it is players sending other players their message. Amazing that one good man, David Wehle made this whole thing to help process his grief. Good playthrough man! I had to break mine into 4 videos and actually left a bit out so people who buy it will have some surprises. Need to start streaming like you did here. New subscriber for sure, keep up the great work and keep finding great Indie games! Conarium is my next target, an HP Lovecraft game that looks really impressive.
I don't strictly remember if in the game they say anything about it, but from the information that I remember it would seem as if he killed himself. He had that Lumber company where a Forklift killed an employee and he felt really guilty about it. He then went to the main character, his son, and asked if he'd take over the business. The son made a huge deal out of it instead of comforting his father and then they seperated. Again I could be wrong because I don't remember if they actually addressed it at all in the game. It'd also make sense in why they just dropped it so sharply as if there was no setup for it. TBH I wasn't a fan of how they revealed it, I talked about it more in my review of the game here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qAJi3BqZmiM.html Thanks a lot for the comment btw!
I thought the same, but at one point when you're in the son's perspective, he walks past a tipped over ladder. It's almost as if his father fell and injured himself and then died in the woods because of that, but I'm not sure.
