Indigo Flight Cancellations Spark Chaos in Kolkata amid Bad Weather and Disrupted Agartala Routes 

I had my flight cancelled. I called indigo helpline, waited patiently for my turn to connect to the operator (which bdw took about 20 minuets), told my situation and they arranged next possible flight for me.

I've traveled with spice jet, air India and IndiGo but amongst them indigo is the most well maintained!well priced, good service and best of all - on time!!! Their punctuality towards time is the best!!!! How can someone shout like this I really don't understand! Is the landing more important than safety? Oh gosh!!! seriously..!! The girl speaking about SRM University you should've gone earlier actually why go at the last minute?if you really cared about your future.. precaution is better than cure!!

I remember my indiGo flight from mumbai to goa making a go around at goa and finally heading back to mumbai due to extremely bad weather in goa. There is nothing to be so mad about . At the end of the day its all about our safety ! All I remember was the powerful roar of IAEV2500 engines at full thrust ! Oh boy !

An airline that was connected to Indigo once lost my bags. The bag contained all my diplomas and certificates. I didn't shout at the Indigo staff. I patiently told them my problem. They emailed me every 2 hours for updates. 2 days later, they found my bags at Dubai airport and delivered it to my home for free. Be patient, the staff are professional and will guarantee the best service possible if you're patient with them

Bad weather: blame airport staff Technical issues: blame airport staff. Spend 5000 to 10000 rupees for a flight and the think they've bought the airline. Give them some freebies and they shut their mouths and sit down.

People are so stupid, if the weather is bad then what's fault of airlines, concern of that girl is different, SRM university should accept her and a new exam should be scheduled for students who were stuck because of this incident.

SRM has 4-5 days for counselling so if you miss one day surely you can go next day. We had people addmiting even after one nonth of college starting. She might miss her seat as someone else takes it but thats why srm people advise you to reasch a day earlier, even in airlines terms and conditions they mention there are always chances of delays so if something important teach early , you can blame them for that they if they cant land in bad weather.

But finally they arranged a flight next day at 9 20 am. Not only flight they also arranged our stay at hotel ginger and other hotels along with our food. I had a training seesion in kolkatta the next day. Three peoples was furiously making hue and cry there. Still i think indigo persons are behaving so generous and politely

According to me IndiGo is best and on time flight throughout India. I don't know why people are shouting and misbehave with staff, bad weather is nature calamity. I am also traveling from and to Agartala by IndiGo from last 7 years and faced heavy turbulence in mid flight during these monsoon... I thik people should realize about its nature with IndiGo staff..

They have no personal reasons like pilot woke up late today so we’re late, mostly it is a genuine reason like technical or weather problems which is a safety issue.

During floods socities come together to help but if flights are cancelled people forget those floods are created from the very weather an aircraft has to go through, as a pilot let me tell you, you can't win over mother nature, I would like to stay alive on ground late for my meeting than dead in a ditch body parts every where.

I had a good experience with indigo Airlines.. It took off on time and safely.. The staffs are very helpful and polite..

Well, you're worried about the exam you will miss, and you're not worried about your life? It's better to miss an exam than be a burning plane wreckage because a flight went ahead due to a bad decision. The crew made the right decision to cancel due to weather. Think smart. Aviation is inherently dangerous. Don't play with your life or the lives of others. The crew actually saved your life, and that will add to the safety record.

Indigo is one of my best experiences out of all other flights ...they always arrange for alternatives.. This situation might be some confusion

Everything is understable...but indigo could have arranged an alternative flight for next day morning after all we paid flight fare to reach the destination. And the girl shouting why have you booked for last minute flight for examination? I am also very worried as I have also booked my flight in Indian airlines during heavy monsoon month August and moreover we are the two ladies travelling at night to Kolkata. Finger crossed

OMG!Why they are shouting it is not the problem of indigo but of weather. I had travelled about 4 times in indigo it is the best airline.

Even today I faced the same problem, the ground staff they don't bother.

I have seen in all cases, our Indian fellow passenger shouts, scream on the top of their voice to the airline staff due to delay, cancelation which is beyond their control at indian airports, but yet to see Indians fellow passengers doing this out side our country like America and the Middle East.

As an aeronautical engineer its instruction from DGCA to any operational Airline in india not to take any risk under any circumstances..... Very upset with the inconvenience caused bt its for ur safety only........ Could have crash landed on the attempt of landing as visibility was not good at ccu..ab agar aisa kuch hota to chillate counter pe ki passengers ki safety ka dhyan nhi rakhte and all. Just cooperate with the airline that's my suggestion.. M too from agartala so can understand ur problem.... Sorry folks... Bt its fault of the airline that they should manage any other facility for the stucked passengers... Its the airlines responsibility..

They ask us to read terms and conditions before booking which clears that they cant be blamed for delays if the reason is genuine like weather problems, if you really think so much about future you would have gone there earlier with some buffer time. If flight would land in bad weather and crash then alos tgey would say why dud they kand and niw that they look fir safety and dont land then also boame them
