Dont we all. They eat such good foods over there. Especially love the street food markets over there. US ones are all so boring and same food every time.
Omg....its like going to grandma's house! You get fed until your stuffed, PLUS you get leftovers and snacks to take back home so you can stuff yourself some more. I love it!!!!☺️
@@iamsherlocked875 yeah, but I guess with the service and the amount of food ordered it is to be expected I guess. In my country not even the five star restaurants have a good service so yeahhhh
That's Japan in America when customers and employees disagree they take the fight outside or sometimes it's understandable if it gets crazy inside also
All this for less than $40 USD is quite amazing. The broth looked delicious and they provided a lot of wonderful ingredients! Edit: Just got to the end of the video. Your takeaway bags look incredible. DB is right. The service of this restaurant is stellar. I wonder if they win awards for providing this level of service?
I wish they had something like that here too! I would feel a little awkward if I had a whole hotpot table to myself but a small booth would be nice. Also the service is so good wow
Oh wow all that for only $40? AMAZING! That can easily be like 3-4 meals for everything you got. AND they were generous in offering more wipes, packing up the extra food, getting you snacks and ice cream to take home. I wish there was something like that here in the U.S.
There is one here in California but they don’t have the one person booth that you see in this Singapore location. The chain is known for their high quality service and beef.
Overpriced ???how even if they didn’t handle the food with such respect that still would’ve been an understandable ,price in America that would’ve came up to at least 60 or $70
In the US, it would have to probably be in the $100+ USD category for the level of service and complimentary things provided. And that's an optimistic price!
i'm so thankful for you editing out the eating noises. As someone who both has misophonia and enjoys food related content, it really makes a huge difference. X
Something about being able to put this on as background noise and just letting yourself relax is super enjoyable. I also use this channel as a resource for drawing exotic restaurants and foods. I gotta say the hotpot ones are my favorite. Each time this channel uploads it pretty much makes my day. Thank you DancingBacons 🙏
It's really cool that they're accommodating of single diners like that! In the US they just look at you weird and bring you to a table with 2-4 seats that just serve to emphasize your loneliness. I wish they'd bring me a stuffie like this ;-;
Pro Tip - If you are going out to eat alone, take a small notepad and pen with you. Try to look a little bit serious and look around subtly as if you are inspecting the place. When you sit down write the name of the place in top of the page in big letters. Then while you eat you can just write random gibberish in there. You will get top notch service every time
Five star service for only 40 bucks? This is way better than room service food! Or better yet, the expensive lobster from one of your videos! And here I am eating a cup of Nissin noodles… 🥲
What a fun place to have a great meal and very attentive staff. All the snacks they gave you was just very sweet of them, giving people. Not many restaurants do that. They treated you like family, “before you go home, here’s some food and snacks for you to take home”! My mom does that when I visit her before I drive back home, gives me containers of homemade food Mexican food, snacks, oranges and avocado from her fruit trees. But I would love to go to this restaurant and just enjoy a good meal with my husband. Glad you enjoyed your delicious meal! 😁💖
This was a great video! i loved the attention to details and lots of freebies at the end. Great customer service, would go there again if this was in my country!
i am always amazed by how well the staff serve you in your videos. they seem to want to help as much as they can ... whereas in the west, staff want you in and out as soon as possible. if i received service as half as helpful as this video, u would definitely tip staff more
Dang! She gave so much fruit and one of each ice cream. Top notch service right there! So many places I go to act like you're committing highway robbery if you just ask for an extra sauce packet.
lol, been clicking bacon for days to see if there's any new videos- yaay! my favorite channel to watch while either eating or wanting to get hungry :D!
On the smiling melon… did you eat the whole thing? Like tooth pick and all? If so, that is some apex/top of the food chain type stuff right there. Thank you for top tier content papa bacon
The only thing not making that hotpot booth the ultimate heaven is the lack of a TV on the wall in front of you. I want would like to watch a series as I'm eating my hotpot.
I can only imagine having a hotel next to this place!!! Spend breakfast, lunch and dinner there. How amazing, I will visit one day and I am excited to enjoy it.
That looks like a great experience, especially when dining alone; keeps you occupied. The service seemed fantastic as well, they were on top of everything. $40 is one heck of a deal, especially after getting all the goodies to take home. The glasses wipes, mouth wash etc, are so cool. Never been to a place like that, usually it's a bowl of mints/candies lol
Seems to be a my kind of restaurant.......Me who dnt want to talk to anyone while having meal and give my 100% while binging on my food....No one will judge me how I'm eating and I dnt need to share my food 😁😁😁😁
It's actually an insult to the owner in most Asian countries to give extra money to the staff. But the staff work for higher wages then servers in the US.
all asian resturant have what is called service fee. which is better than tipping and transparent as you know that the price in the menu goes to food from the ingrident to cooking then the 10% service on top would goes to the waiters and other staff.
Usually in Asian countries, the service fee is already included in the cost of your food. For example, this Haidilao hot pot is more expensive than your usual hot pot places because of the excellent service.
Based on my intellectual capacity and my vast knowledge, tactically and tentatively right from the beginning of times especially in the light of Ecclesiastes evolution I have come to a concrete definite and profound conclusion that I actually have nothing to say thank you!
Looks so yummy! And so much food, I'd be full after appetizers lol. Love your vids, also missing your beautiful gf/wife this video. She's so lovely when she tastes something good ❤
I hope you did leave a good tip for the servers because that serving experience deserve it a lot. Especially having a take out enough for 2 people for later meal :) One of the best dining experience videos i watched on your channel. Thanks a lot. Be safe.
@@MisunderstoodPresence search 海底捞 (Hai di lao), you might find them in your country. It is famous hot pot brand in China. I have seen them in Europe once
This space is AMAZING!! I so want to try there. Sadly, I am in the UK and, with the current pandemic, unlikely to be able to visit. However, I really can't eat tofu....it makes me sick. But if you ever go back, please tell the staff I think they're wonderful! So nice, kind and polite. :) I loved your dining partner too!
I think they have 3 locations in the UK. By the way the restaurant's called HaiDiLao. I've been there and yes the service is amazing, and the food is also wonderful.
What a deal. At first I thought it was pricey but with that amount of food, it will last me a few days and that is cheap (in a good way). Where is this place?
Love this, like others have commented, that the meal was very generous for one person and a private booth with a "Stuffy" to join you. They realized that you were a RU-vidr, so they packed your takeaway bags to the fullest. They recognize that this is free unsolicited advertising, and for them. Never would happen here in Canada.
