Indonesia has a great mix of American and Russian aircraft at it's high tiers which would benefit any nation struggling in those areas. Time to have a look at them and all of their variants
Indonesian ideologi is free trade. But anti-capitalist and anti-communist.Where the government prefers to help & Subsidy small and medium enterprises. And tax large companies.
knowing F-15 and the Rafale is going to be added on AURI tech tree, hopefully Gaijin did add Indonesia to the game. especially this country also have the capability to produce its own modern Ships and Tanks.
Took the kids to the ranch yesterday, and Guppy had a blast riding the quad with me. Today the rain is watering my autumn garden. I am indeed doing well :)
You posted this right around the time of Indonesian Independence Day. I found that very intriguing, so thank you sir. By the way, to pronounce the "c" in "Macan" is like pronouncing the "c" in "Change" or "Chance" or "Channel"
Well... Indonesia never rejecting israel existence as a country in the first place, indonesia only rejecting israel occupation of west bank and gaza strip. Which means back door trade between the two countries are still possible. Skyhawk are not the only israel produced military equipment indonesia buy, indonesia also purchasing hundreds of israeli galil riffle along many stuffs
@@thegrandlord2914 This is true, since late 60s Indonesia managed to establish intellegence and military ties with Israel through unofficial channel in Turkey and Iran (under the Shah rule), from then on both Indonesian Military and Israeli Military secretly work, trade, and train together. On several occasion both countries tried to start a diplomatic ties though all efforts ended up in failure with recently both countries relation went pretty sour after IDF bombed and occupy an Indonesian Hospital in the Gaza Strip, all in all, Israel and Indonesia relations is pretty much interesting to know and learn in my opinion
Thanks for covering my country air tree! regarding the tree's future potential, there's rumor that we're currently in the middle of procuring US F-15EX & French's Rafale, we're also in the middle of a join research with South Korea in the KF-X/IF-X project, producing the KF-21 Boramae, these 3 are obviously not in WT yet, but if they do, Gaijin could then add it to multiple TT at once
@@dindjarin21 oh good then! You know how it is with our military procurement, sometime we announce that we want to buy something, but it gets cancelled in the end (ex: Su-35 Flankers cancelled due to CAATSA, or the viral procurement of Qatar's Mirage 2000-5 during the yesterday election)
The fact that Indonesian air force uses so many different kinds of planes from various suppliers and nations is a critical weakness in its logistical nightmare, but it sure made for an interesting War Thunder tech tree with many opportunities to include planes that would otherwise never enter the game lol.
Indonesian Air Force history is very fascinating, formed and at first equipped with just some bi-plane trainer aircraft, with its peak superiority era in the 50s and 60s, and pretty much a downgrade in the 70s (heck even they're not allowed to use one of their fighter jets militarily) lastly their interesting inventory of both Russian and American aircraft. I've visited one of their museum in Yogyakarta, really cool to see all the aircraft there in-person, especially the Tu-16KS, interestingly they also have what seems to be a captured Dutch Hawker Hunter jet at the display, pretty cool place and definitely worth a visit.
im laughing when you said "Macan" as "Makan" that have different meaning in Indonesia actually, Macan is meaning Tiger and Makan is meaning eat, btw nice video i love it
If there add indonesia tech tree i think malaysia sub tree will be a good addition because there are nearly the same aircraft to each other and malaysia SU-30MKM have best cas asset and the ground sub tree will also nice because of mix of Russian, American and British vehicle
Many Indonesian Air Force's MIGs were sent or bartered to US to equip then-secret US squadron of Sovyet's fighters. That squadron existed for reason finding envelope of capabilities (or weaknesses) of Sovyet's fighters. True story about McDonnell-Douglas A4 Skyhawk of Indonesian Air Force: Indonesia and Israel have never had diplomatic relations since it declares independence because Indonesia is the most populous moslem country in the world. But in 1979 Indonesia were in such need of modernisation of its Air Force and Israel were had in their hand used surplus Skyhawks from US. When Israeli signaled Indonesian government that they were willing to sell 32 Skyhawks, then-president Soeharto tasked intelligence spymaster to deceive Indonesian that it was the US that were selling Skyhawks to Indonesia, not Israel. Many decades later, that story were told for the first time by retired Air Force's chief of staff in his memoir.
8:57 FYI, the C in Indonesian is phoenetically pronounced as a CH, and the letter A is pronounced the same in all words (except English loanwords), like the U in umbrella. The correct pronunciation is "Muh-chan" (chan like the Japanese -chan nomial suffix)
The Indonesian Air Force is basically an Ace Combat Squadron. So many different planes from different countries. Su-27SKM Su-30MK2 F-15EX (still in negotiation with the US) Rafale F3/F4 (on order) F-16C/D T-50i KF-21 (I don't know if Indonesia is still continuing with this project)
Indonesia has tons of variety tanks and aircrafts from both eastern and western, it can get easily separated to independence tech tree just like israel one.
as an indonesian i dont think we need indonesian tech tree, as it would be 95% copy paste. having indonesian camo like we already have on the f-5e and su-27s is much prefered imo.
i would love to see these in Japan TT. mostly because between rank 5 and 7 it has nothing almost no vehicles. Also the super tucano would be a strange plane. IDK where you can put a super prop with 40g missiles
Probably slightly below the premium AMX with the same missiles, so 11.3-11.0, and if they're really dumb they can put it at 10.7 but I don't see that happening.
@@Rayjacker the thing is the speed, 600 km/h would made it pretty much useless in ARB because the map lenght unless it spawn a lot closer. And if that thing can manouver well would be funny lol
For Indonesian Naval IT Will be KRI Irian an Indonesians Cruisser that wassalamu'alaikum Made by the Soviet union and It wassalamu'alaikum used in the Indonesian operasion Trikora when Indonesian invade Dutch Papua and Thare Will be some Destroyer dan Gun boats for Indonesian Navy tech tree
For Indonesian Tank tree Will be the Pindad Harimau Medium tank and some Pindad Made Apcs and Indonesian Upgraded AMX-13 PT-76 with new 90 mm gun Indonesian Leo 2A4 OR 2A7 RI and that's it man.
For the ww2 and cold war stuffs for the tank armored car and SPG are coppy pasted from the American,Russian, France,British tech tree and some Indonesian Made stuffs or upgraded ones
Either split into multiple trees or they might adapt the idea I’ve been seeing of changing the current Japanese tech tree into a more Asia-Pacific kind of tree so they could actually add more nations without so much trouble
China should be the indo pacific one then sense they did have a lot of influence and tributary relationships through the millenia, whereas Japan's ww2 conquests were more of a flash in the pan
@@spyczech China doesn’t need a subtree, they have Taiwan and will very likely get Pakistan in the near future. Japan on the other hand atm desperately needs one to fill in gaps in their tech tree for both air and ground
I’m honestly kind of tired of all the “lol” artillery guns being added, every nation getting Russian or American planes. I get it. Historically they did. But I’d rather teams be balanced around which plane you’re flying instead of what nation you’re playing. All F-16s be on one team, all F-15s be on one team, all Su-27s, all MiGs, etc. essentially all games are mixed battles because you’re fighting a variant of yourself most of the time.
How about instead of adding all these smaller nations tech trees, they add Australia, a nation that actually has a historic list of vehicles from 1.0-10, 1930s to current. Alot are British or American planes and vehicles but many are unique versions along with Australian designed vehicles and planes.
