Im indonesian and everyone says “anjing” “goblok” “kontol” etc even kids say that, and there were many people fighting in front of my house, people throwing rocks near my street, etc
in Sydney where i live there's a famous Indonesian restaurant that makes the best fried chicken ever, it's called "ayam goreng tulang lunak" or something. It's crispy outside and so soft inside you can eat the bones.
+yansen prayoga no dude its actually called 'ayam presto'. not every 'ayam penyet' has a soften bone tho. there was a process involved to make the bone is edible enough
I've been traveling around Indonesia lately and have been eating practically everything you suggest and more. Thanks for making your videos. They're truly amazing!
Mark, truly thank you for this video! My family is rewatching this during the pandemic and seeing you explore Glodok / Petak Sembilan Chinatown brought back so many lovely memories for my Grandma who used to live in Jl. Keadilan (the same backstreet you used to enter the Glodok area).
Mark you have to try "nasi goreng kambing kebon sirih" the original one near monas. I mssged you through facebook before, if you need anything just let me know :D

Hi Intan, as you know here in RU-vid there are lots of poor thirsty dudes. Just like the guy above me. We're like sharks on the bottom of the sea who haven't eaten for so long, waiting for a prey. You are precisely one of those fish that will be surrounded by school of starved sharks, which in this case indonesians sad dudes. Especially seeing you are one of the rare breeds, a western girl with indonesian heritage. So please grace us with your social media accounts and help us with our research to fight against starvation 🙏 😁 lol
It’s incredible how memories are related to food. I’m so in love with food and it’s such a dream to travel just to discover the food culture and create more memories. Btw I love your videos.
I’m so touch when you mention about breadfruits, I can see how you recall your old memory through you eyes. I enjoy this video over all. I hope you can discover Indonesia deeper and lift up to the world. Gnight from Bandung West Java 👍🏼

Really miss this kind of jakarta. Crowded, hot, messy but friendly. Hope all this street food vendor can survive in this difficult time. Cant wait to feel happy and safe eat outside again.
every each of Indonesian street food has its unique taste, character and identity that represent even more wider of indonesian cuisine. great video bro
Imagine you waking up one day, doing all of your daily routine selling snacks or street vendors and then a foreigner comes to your cart to buy your food and record you for his RU-vid video. I would be super happy to even got a chance to talk to foreigner as an indonesian but this guy was not only ordered your food but also says very nice things about it. I won't be sleeping after hearing that lmao. Great Content.
