However, I was denied this option and told hospital birth is mandatory. What do we need to ask in order to get the pessary and continue with home birth? Is this on an NHS trust by trust basis?
Really? Nothing about how taking synthetic hormones interfere with the woman's natural hormones, making it very likely the whole process of birth will be highly medicalised? Nothing on the adverse effects of epidural and synthetic oxytocin on the baby? I honestly found the information in this particular video quite limited and lacking in some essential aspects regarding induction. I would think more women than me are interested in knowing not just what happens (ie the steps) in an induction, but what that causes, the effects on mother and baby of those steps. Are you perhaps not allowed to talk so much about the negatives around this, as you work in a hospital?
