I don’t even have the energy for a description tbh. Song just drained the hell out of me. Kind of like what those pills and substances can do to you. Eminem took me for a trip down memory lane on this one. I’m glad he overcame his addiction and is still making classics like this. This was perfection.

It's actually a triple entendre because he's talking about a relationship that he had with somebody or he could also be talking about a drug addiction or he could be talking about his relationship with hip-hop. The man is a genius

Then it's about hip hop (the double meaning of the song) but drugs is #1 then #2 hip hop and people can take it as a triple if they felt like that towards a woman but Eminem himself said it was about drugs then in another perspective was his relationship with hip-hop he didn't say anything about a woman but I get what ur saying

I've listened to this song idk how many times and never noticed it had 3 themes the whole time. Always thought it just had a double meaning, but from the very first word the song has 3 meanings depending on how you hear the song. Great reaction my man.

yea this about to be lit lol. I had my own issues with pill addiction for almost 6 years and this song hits so crazy because the way he explains the entire love/addiction with the drug is literally perfect. If you haven't been through it yourself or close to someone who has, not every bar will hit the way it does me. Especially the part when he says 'I thought you loved me bitch you tried to kill me". So true. Genius period.

There’s so many parallels between personal relationships and the relationship we have with our drug’s of choice. It’s legit like a romantic relationship without the sex (obviously) and back and forth between the two people. I’ve been clean for 6 years, almost 7, and I still tell people I love opiates more than just about anything in this world, I just know I can’t partake or my life is over.

Def one of my favs from the album the beat switch,double meaning throughout the entire track Em's flows and delivery is just flawless he is truly unmatched here's the meaning of the song ~ This track can be interpreted as a heart-break song, directed towards his divorced wife Kim or even a newer partner. The lyrics have an interesting structure. It starts off as an innocuous love song, but the drug metaphor gets stronger as the song goes on, until the sound effects after the outro confirm that the subject of the song was pills indeed EMINEM The GOAT Of Hip Hop Forever!👊🏽🐐🔥✨🎯💯

The lines talking about flipping the house around looking, I did the same thing when I had a pill addiction for nearly 8 years. I'd be on the floor in my house looking under the couch, the tables, pulling dirty clothes out the hamper checking the pants pockets. Calling plugs at 3am desperately trying to find anything. Some of the lowest times of my life. I love this song and a lot of people don't understand.
