you all really seemed to enjoy these types of videos sooo just realized i had a typo... how embarrassing [0:41 *nod] show: bbc's good omens pairing: crowley & aziraphale twitter: @starksual / @crowphales
Just realized it wasn't Crowley actually saying "tickety boo" at the end, kind of disappointed, was hoping he actually took that phrase from Aziraphale
Also I could tell what happened when "Aziraphale" said the word "Well" at the ice cream stand. You don't watch as much Doctor Who as I do that you don't recognize THAT specific pronunciation.
Yea, I knew it was happening... but I was still disappointed that Crowley and Aziraphale weren't the ones managing themselves with some of the cuter moments
At 2:20 Aziraphale was so cute saying ‘I gave it away!’ And then at 2:38 Crowley’s voice crack when he said ‘Agnes Nutter’ was so adorable I love these two so much
This is one where the show has it all over the book, because in the book he just says gumbo. A lot of the rest of the dialogue is the same but my experience reading it is 1,000,000X better with David and Michael's voices in my head
@@claremiller9979 yeah the drunk scene is way funnier in the show, for obvious reasons. One thing I still laugh out loud at from the book version however is Crowley creating this giant metaphor to describe the concept of eternity to Aziraphale, only to finish it by saying, "and by the time that happens...you'll still be listening to the sound of music". It's so unexpected and in contrast with what he was saying a second before that it makes me giggle every time. But of course it wouldn't have worked on tv, i'm glad we got to witness these two being lovable idiots instead
the worst part is that when i watched the series for the first time and he said "ducks" i immediately was like, "yeah, water off a *ducks* back" so my one brain cell is mine all mine tyvm
The reasons I love this ship: 1. They are polar opposites and it’s adorable 2. It’s basically Romeo and Juliet 3. They’re so freaking oblivious to how the other feels 4. They share one brain cell and are pretty much complete dumbasess all the time 5. THEY JUST FIT SO WELL TOGETHER 6. They’ve known each other for THOUSANDS of years 7. They went from enemies to aquatinces to friends to best friends to lovers I COULD GO ON AND ON. DO I NEED TO EXPLAIN MORE???
I’m not convinced David wasn’t at least a bit tipsy for that drunk scene. Edit: 1k+ likes? Was not expecting that guys thanks! Edit 2: 2.3+k likes? You guys rock!
He's played drunk in a number of shows, quite well. He did admit, however, that he had a drink before his drunk scene in Takin' Over the Asylum. He would have been 22, I think. He said the prop master gave it to him and he worried he'd get in trouble for it.
When your mom comes into your room when you're watching them together: *i aM hAvInG a mOmEnT hErE* Got here as soon as I could, I love your vids so much, please don't ever leave my life-
I'm fairly sure that oysters were thought to be aphrodisiacs (are ARE, not sure) which is part of the reason Crowley was so surprised when Az said 'let me tempt you' like 'oh wow I thought you were propositioning me for a sec damn I'm so dissapointed'
SeanDarling WHEEZE, I can confirm they are, it is one of the chosen foods of Venus/Aphrodite in Greek and Roman mythos. It’s used for sex, and Aziraphale just straight up asked that.
Look at 3:06 that one guy off to the left, started smiling when Crowley began shouting out about the unicorn. I would try to contain laughter too if I was there.
Boulliabase, though I don't think I spelled it right. Also headcannon is that giving the sword to the first couple made humanity capable of violence, hence it eventually became war.
Oh definitely. Aziraphale meant to give them protection, but also gave them violence. Crowley meant to corrupt them, but gave them the ability to tell good from evil and make their own choices - which eventually saved the world through Adam's choice! :D
It's not as simple as "the demon made the right choice and the angel made the wrong one", because there are good and bad things about both decisions. The sword granted protection, but it also enabled war; eating from the tree gave humans (and Adam) the ability to choose good, but it also allowed them to choose evil. Aziraphale's and Crowley's actions in the beginning are equally gray, which aligns them even more with humanity. Ultimately, I think that both decisions are at least a little more good than bad, as they allow everything to happen as it does. It's also really important to remember that, in their own ways, Aziraphale and Crowley were both acting out of kindness. Crowley thought it was unfair to ask humans for obedience when they don't know good from bad, so he tempted them so they could gain knowledge. Aziraphale thought it was unfair to kick them out of Eden mostly defenseless, so he gave away his sword to try and even out the odds. While these actions have negative consequences, they were ultimately done out of caring for humanity.
That last one tho xD I thought hey Crowley just quoted Aziraphale with the tickety boo thing but then I remembered that that *is* Aziraphale and he just said tickety boo *again* I love these idiots
"Big spooky fan me" Aziraphale and Crowley watching a horror movie and Crowley laughing as Aziraphale is gripping to him and shaking in fear but once something gets way to scary for Aziraphale he tears up and Crowley starts to actually worry and holds him (I'm sorry I can't stop im obsessed)
or totally the other way around! Anthony "big spooky fan me" J Crowley is scared of horror movies and Aziraphale just sits there trying to understand why humans find them scary...(he technically was the one with the big sharp cutty thing)
I love that "tickety boo" is used to foreshadow the switch, because I initially thought Crowley saying it was mean to mean "obviously nothing's fine but i have to pretend in front of these people BUT I'LL SAVE YOU AZIRAPHALE I SWEAR!" Since Hell doesn't get humans enough that literally no one has ever said that besides Aziraphale, it would work. But the foreshadowing thing makes way more sense and I'm slightly embarrassed that I didn't figure it out immediately.
i love LOVE how they are constantly quarreling and yet there is no person in the entire universe who they would prefer over each other theyve been together for so many centuries and it shows
For heav-, for hel-, for something's sake! I love these videos! The floating text is magnificent, and the zooms are perfectly timed. Thank you, my dear
Omg I love this. So many great scenes. - The point is... Dolphins. - And what are they putting in bananas these days?! - SOUVENIR!!! - "Aziraphale just wants to smooch at this point" - I AM HAVING A MOMENT HERE. - And the unicorn scene!! One of my favourites. In conclusion: I love them and I love this video. 💜
Idk if it's intentional or not, but in the older scenes (like in the garden of eden), Crowley has completely yellow eyes (2:19), whereas in the modern day he has eye whites which you can see either side of the sclera (3:25). If it's intentional, I wonder if this detail shows that Crowley is becoming more human or less demon or something
"Oi Shaaam! That unicorn's making a run for it! ... Ah, it's too late! But you still have one!" 40 days later and the song "I'm the last unicorn" was sung for the first time
Everytime. EVERYTIME I hear Az say "Got any better ideas ? Got. One. Single. Better idea ?" I just want him to say "We’re doing Get Help" (And add Crowley’s "It’s humiliating". It would be wonderful, I can’t be the only one)
