Evening all. Looks like the jet setting lifestyle is catching up with Ped! Danny Ric - I think he’ll be back. The sport needs some characters. I’m going to the Qatar Gp in December. Hoping it will be an exciting one with it all to play for. Will be my first 3 day experience. Looking forward to the MG review as my son needs a new family car that’s not going to break the bank. In the UK at least, sales numbers for Ineos have been poor this year. Just 187 passenger vehicles to end August (583 for similar period last year) and 16 vehicles taxed as commercials (67 for equivalent period last year). No wonder electric Fusilier was cancelled. They must be losing a fortune on this venture. Could this be the last nail in the coffin?

Still dashing around…your Air Miles must be staggering by now…😃😃😃….I would like to visit Wolfsburg but then I did visit the Karmann Ghia works in Osnabruck in 1968 and had a full factory personal tour with added soldiers (!!) as my friends father was the Chief Engineer! INEOS…serious bother there..can they not revamp with different seats which is a huge job but better than sinking the Company. The VW Golf GTi s very likely a rather good car but it just looks so dull. I’m pleased you are getting the Taycan…then we can all see if buying one at 50% off really is a super good idea??😃😃😃 Keep travelling….say safe…don’t overdose on in flight meals!!😃😃😃😃Richard.
Re Ineos halting production due to component supply issues, recall Ford halting Fiesta production in Germany for the same sort of reason some while back, something to do with no tailgate hinges being available. Not sure how long this went on for.

Edit, just seen a previous comment! I wonder if Recaro make the seats for Ineos?? A company having it's own difficulties, as mentioned in a previous 180. Thats major components to re-source at short notice.... But does that hint at production levels for the Grenadier???
No sympathy here for Ineos. An automotive dinosaur that has no place in the modern world. But you're right, Jimbo can afford the losses with what he saves on not paying tax in the UK.
