inFAMOUS 2 'Playthrough PART 1 "The Beast" Boss Fight' TRUE-HD QUALITY 

I've beat this game 5 times and it still gets my adrenalin all pumped up when this happens

3:07-3:15 I just like Cole's reaction to the beast's appearance. It's natural because of how unexpected the beast showed up and he knew he HAD to deal with it immediately, despite being unprepared.

The fact that this still holds up phenomenally as one of the best game intros to this day. Man I love this game.

In infamous his voice sounded like he did things just to get over with them and get on with his life but in infamous 2 his voice gives him more of a humorous attitude which is good

graphics have REALLY improved in just 2 years

i liked the battle between cole macgrath and the beast. I think its awesome how they made infamous 2. i played infamous,infamous 2, infamous second son, andd infamous first light. and i like all of them but my two favorite are infamous 2 and infamous second son and i think the infamous series is awesome and i will always enjoy it so thank you sucker punch and sony computer entertainment for making the infamous series.

Most games have you complete the tutorial and then fight the boss. In infamous 2, the boss fight is the tutorial

I hope in the next infamous we get some villain that comes even close to the beast, something big, something Terrifying, something or someone that just by looking you can tell that thing is evil. Really felt that lacking in second son, though I like the game, that was one of my favorite parts of infamous 2 fighting the beast

Why does Cole looks 17 yrs younger than in the first game?

First of all this is on NORMAL settings and I was near death (you're referring to 5:58) because of one tiny mistake...I didnt know I had to move away because it was the first fucking time I had encountered the part where he sucks you in. So yeh have this ┌∩┐(◣_◢)┌∩┐

“Kessler warned me about you. I’m not gonna let it happen!” Baddest line in the game. What a screw up not continuing Cole’s story and going with that lameo spray painter

Two things. 1) HIS HEAD ASPLODE XD 2) For those of you who think Kessler sucks. Remember: he was evil only through action, but good through intent. He acted evil, became a villain, put Cole through hell. But remember he was a badass who sacrificed everything! Including whatever happiness his past self could have had to train Cole to become stronger than ever!

Is this the first encounter??? I remember when I first fought the Beast he whooped my ass and Cole woke up in that “other” city, I can’t recall the name, it’s like...”Maria’s” or something. Either way, can you actually BEAT the Beast on the first encounter? That’s bad ass.

Cole is so much better in INFAMOUS 2. He's funny, the motion capture is amazing and the voice actor is great.

@Linknot100 keep watching, they say that john had the conduit gene. since john did come into contact with the ray sphere in the first game, its the most likely possiblity. that & the beast came sooner than it shouldve happened. remember, kessler was powerful enough to stop the beast in his time but decided to flee. cole however isnt when the beast appears.

I cant believe that the Beast is really over 40ft tall .That thing looks to big for Cole to face and defeat.I love the heck out of this game.Go Cole beat the living hell out of the Beast man.

i agree, but it gives a feeling that cole wasn't always depressed. he's originaly a laid back troublemaker which is why it would make sense that he would even think about being evil, because he's supposed to be sort of a punk.

I just noticed, if you pause at 3:19 and look at Cole's bag closely, there's the Sly Cooper symbol on it.

The Beast, the complete opposite of Watchmen's own Dr.Manhattan, they both reformed when they were incinerated, they both have godlike abilities, and they both look alike. man what a epic showdown that would be.

Do you have another site that you upload full playthroughs, because all I see majority of the time are like the climatic scenes from the game, example: boss fights, unlocking special items, etc. Just wondering still.

I am so happy that he still looks the same because a few months ago he did not look like Cole. They must have decided to change him back to at least look like the Cole in the 1st game even though it's a different voice actor.

@orrthehunter I know. Almost all the playthroughs on both games are with the evil karma.

There sum things i wondered about; 1. Why'd Kessler fight Cole in the first game?, It'd be better if they fought together. 2. I thought the battle would be bigger, (like a city-wide battle) 3. Why didn't Cole get reinforcements, like the military?

@TheStimpyland no ign had nothing to do with it. Sucker Punch wanted to improve the storytelling and presentation by putting in the 3d cutscenes where the actors acted on a mo cap stage like in uncharted 2 to get a great performance. To do that they had to change actors because jason cottle(coles old voice) was only a voice actor not a motion actor. The new actor (Eric Laden) had the phisical look, face, and voice that sucker punch wanted and in my opinion the voice is better than the first.

The beast is Cole. Cole goes gets his new powers and they turn him into the beast I know what is going to happen I have a feeling that that is what is going to happen

@TheDjpilk Dude, I loved Cole's voice in Infamous(1). He sounded pretty badass! Now, his voice just seems too light for him compared to the old one. Screw reviewers, saying that his voice was "too grave". :(

if you save the good and evil ending in the first infamous you get to choose to continue the krma path you had. You will be able to tell by the electrisity in this first cutscene.

He tries so hard to be 'evil' when he was never evil in the first place. The gane forces it, and it's forced for cole. Become evil and the beast to save humanity from the plague by awaking the conduits, so that humanity can live on. Sounds very selfish. Shoot a giant rocket at the beast... While still 'evil' in the game... Save Laroche's niece from swamp monsters... Because that's evil. They could've wrote it better, so that your choices are just choices.

@sonicshadowsilver321 Wrong, kessler chose not to kill the beast due to his wife, and children as I quote: "In those early days Kessler could've used his powers to stop it" Even if kessler made cole developing powers sooner than Kessler would have, cole would be stronger than Kessler the moment he'd face the beast, and if Kessler is strong enough, Cole too has the power to stop it.

What happened to the deep voiced, older cole from infamous 1?

Zeke didn't betrayed Cole on the first, he just acted wrongly and at the end of the first game, Zeke come on the final battle between you and Kessler and try to help you...

please go through a full good karma gameplay. It was already difficult enough to find one good karma walkthrough for the first game.

@MrBlacasknight its not the disc that xbox uses. the problem is the ps3 cpu is almost 3x as strong as xbox and since infamous 2 uses so much of that power, xbox cant handle it.
