And pay attention to the number of waves of ads the boss spawns, after u kill the 4th wave of ads u can go wild full dps because he will no longer resist PATK and MATK. I did this with Tifa sommersault and Kaiser Knucles to keep the boss with 3 tiers of M Def down and 2 P Def down, after the 4th wave i just unleashed everything on the boss. Nice of u to show different setups\teams.

After like 4 hours i beat, I just have to keep learning the attack patterns, I also changed my sub gear to only focus on all ATTK and MAGIC ATTK, forget HP it helped me a lot. The CLOUD, Sephiroth, AEIRTH Combo, also i focused on getting 3 star materias because those stats can make a lil difference with boosting stats man for real, i dont recommend using 2 star materia if u can, Also check out octos fARming material video if you need to learn how to make higher stat materia, thanks octo once again you have helped me so much lol

When Octo says bring Summons I also think he meant bring DPS Limit Breaks too, but yes also helps to start the LB chain with an LB that debuffs PDEF/MDEF! Also that cat is Nekos spy XD!

I liked this fight, it was a decent challenge. I definitely could've done better but I got a C rank. It was my first big boss fight using Cloud as a healer so I prob should have upped his heal a little more than what it was. I had Aerith as wind DPS, her gown helps A LOT! She was the only char I had at level 55.

I don't know what happened .. but, after killing all of the side enemies, the boss's defenses never went down. And the side enemies never regenerated. It always did the magic aoe attack instead of the one that required breaking the sigils. So I was doing nothing but blocked damage to it, time ran out and I lost the fight. -_- Not sure what I did wrong or if the fight was bugged.

Same in this video he did say theres a bug to not use magic down or something on the boss until side enemies are dead or that will happen .. ganna test it out tonight.. but im having same problem.

I noticed about that that the boss sometimes doesnt lose its buffs after the 4th wave of adds died... and remains buffed, me wasting time.

6:30 AI does that when you are low so you can use heal.

I have a question: If you have a LVL 70 four star weapon and later get a Five Star of the same weapon, will you lose all 70 levels? That is the reason I have not upgraded some weapons.

Everything gets transferred, you don't lose anything.

I honestly do not believe these F2P people. I"ve spent about...100 bucks on this game so far and none of my characters can break 6k HP, most barely scrape past 5k.

He is f2p through and through. Catch him up on twitch and see it for yourself. He is quite lucky on sephiroth release banner and got multiples of his weapon copies. I myself also f2p,2 weeks late to the game and just defeat very hard shiva last week. If you a day 1 f2p player and still struggling, its a you problem now. So my advice is, you need to understand the game mechanics 1st. Cheers and good luck mate

@@rektkun1319 I agree. I paid once for the Season Pass and thats it. But I am a bad gamer, so I am learning a lot with Smelly. Still have not passed Ifrit Hard, so hard pass on Shiva.

The most stupid design of a boss fight (so far): you cant hit him, but he will 1 shot your party!!! In meantime, you have a small window to do dmg. How many people actually have maxed Shiva and Ramuh??? How many can do 90k LB??? Stupid, stupid, extremally cheap and stupid design!!! (an example of how things should never be done!)

I prioritized the summons before other stuff ahd have Iffy and Raman mu maxed, but not shiva. Since Shiva co-op starts tonight earning enough peices to max yer shouldn't be hard. Breach, mag down and lots of fire/Ifrit to get through her VH. Rahmu is straight pain in the ass. I'm still not sure how passed it the first time, but i'd debuffed enough to get over 80 dmg in one (post)break phase w limit summons, then it was just a war. Clouds marine suit and water (maritime?) Sword spammed in breaks was most of damage doing 14-16k per hit if debufed right. It's a painfull race though and after 60 plus tries i cleared both VH and never want to look at it again.
