I’m so glad I found this! My regular manicurist doesn’t do extensions anymore so I went to another salon to get gel x extensions to grow my natural nail out and I really don’t want to remove them yet until my natural nails have fully grown out. I was hoping it would be possible to just fill these in and I’m happy it worked out so nicely!
020ctmarie it’s possible it just depends on daily activities and how well they wear on your natural nails , even if u might not want to take them off , they might pop off at some point it they get lifted
THANK YOU for this video! Very helpful. Can you please do more videos with the apres system showing how to do different designs, if thats even possible? For example inlaying glitter or flowers? Thanks!
Hi 👋 I have a question do you build the nail again with the bottle gel rubber base only? If not can you tell me what product did you used apart of the one I mentioned previously? Thank you 🙏
Hi! I was wondering if the clear base gel that you used (the builder one) is the same as the APREs Extend Gel. Amazing video btw- never thought I could fill my gel extensions! :)
Love the shape and colour!! Question; can you get a simple colour change on gel x nails if they’re in good condition and have been on a little over two weeks? I don’t want a new set since they still look so good and would like to let them grow out back to my natural nails but the nail technician is advising me to either take them off and go back to natural nails or get a new set. I’m not understanding why I can’t get a simple colour change? Will removing the current colour and filing down the lengthy Aussie the nail to crack or left? Thank you :)
So I soaked it off with the clips & acetone product did not budge, was really stuck next time will use aluminum thanks for tip my nails always lose their shape even acrylic any tips????
Hey, what would you recommend as an alternative to that rubber base? I’m not licensed, but I would really love to do my own to save money. (College life- LOL!!)
I was just wondering could you paint a full set of these with nail art etc.. then attach them after they are designed? Sort of like a press on nail then I suppose xxxx
Do navy pro tools do a sharpening service for there nippers do you know??? And thank you for this video, have been waiting for it for a while so thank you... Happy Friday!
May I ask a question pls? I just took my last set off and my nails seem kinda week and a slight bit sore.. I'm a fairly new qualified nail tech.. so I know they arnt alive or breath and all that blah blah blah and what not lol in your opinion do you think I should wait a couples days before i put a new set on? Like for a "break" lol I just put gel polish over them like an hr ago.. just wondering what you would do if I was your client ya know what I mean? Would you give me a new set if I walked into your salon right now? If anyone else has advice I would love to hear it too.. thanks everyone and thanks for sharing hun 😊
Couldn’t you use The Gel Bottle’s BIAB to attach the nails instead of the Apres Gel? If you use one of the BIAB nude colors maybe you could have an opaque nude set underneath the polish instead of a clear set. I would love to see if it works.
A few days ago I wanted to apply gel nails to My client and her thumbs are bigger than the tips, so I had to build her nail using polygel and cápsulas, I don't know how yo Say that in ENGLISH.
is there a dupe for the gel that you use to secure the artificial nail to your finger? for example could i use full sized artificial clear nails and a dupe for the gel that adheres the nail on and it would still work? or do i have to buy the whole kit? bc i do have ph binder and primer and stuff !! plz help!!
Im not a nail tech, I usually do press on nails but I've took a break from them as nails popping off can get annoying. I'd love to try this system out but I can't justify the price, I'd love to try some cheaper alternatives if there are any!
Look up gel-x dupe on RU-vid and you'll find a lot of videos detailing how to do a less expensive version. I use Makartt full cover nails and a gummy rhinestone gel and they look great!
@@LaurenP0205 I use a gel meant for adhering rhinestones I got off of Amazon. It holds them on with no issue, and soaks off easily with acetone. Between the Makartt tips and the gummy gel, the cost is less than $20! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073TF734N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1
You didn’t press them on hard enough. What you need to do is not put as much gel around the edges and keep it more in the middle so that when you are curing it the gel will flood closer to the edges without actually oozing out the sides. Also before I apply the nails to my nail I use my mail drill to gently thin out the cuticle area just a tad to make it more flush with my cuticle area, and then of course I scrub the underside of the mail with the non acidic primer to rough the underside of it for better adhesion.
Bella from Amazon. It comes with a price tag but even doing nails at home you want to have a good efile or else you will go through loads of them (like I did) Hope this helps
Hello! I’m a hair stylist and have been getting acrylic for years, I’ve been wanting to try something else and was wondering if this is a good for some who works with there hand and tends to get their hands wet often? I’d like to add that regular gel polish with no acrylic peels right off my nails within days even before I was a stylist.
If you are in the states, check out www.atwoodindustries.net They have amazing bits. All the cone/football shapes are "safety" bits. Just don't buy one that's flat on the top.
