INFINITE COMBO BREAKING THE GAME (MTG Arena) Polyraptor 

That opponent is the real MVP: one creature, 80 something polyraptors in the battlefield and he is still there!

Beautiful deck, friend. To give a bit more IT background, the animations and all is displaying, because that is only on a client side. Now The MTGA is in Unity, and I believe, that if the server had crashed, then you would get a message about the crash, or server unavailability (very probably). Now the thing why is is taking too long for server to process is weird, because we are, essentially, looking at 349 triggers (time 32:06), not sure how many raptors to duplicate you have, but lets state 4 (if I see correctly). Then we have a mathematical sequence. On First trigger we get 4*2 in total. On the second trigger we get 4*2*2 in total. The final amount would be 4*(2^349) raptors. Now, for comparison of the numbers, if we look at security, and encryption, for AES (an encryption algorithm), there are 2^256 possible keys. That is still considered as so high number, that is is not countable really, and probably it is larger than the amount of atoms in the universe. To get to the point: If you would like to iterate all 2^256 posibilities that will just take biluions of space years to complete (if at all), even if you would have all the computational power in the world. You have generated even larger exponent. Now, let's have a look on what server does. Apparently, it [iterates] through all the copies, and triggers. Which, I would like to point out, is very, very bad coding, and there is better way to do it. To conclude it: I would guess that the server is still running, but still calculating. To be honest, it is good, because they wrote the code so badly, they deserve it. On the other hand, if you try to create 2^256 instances of a card, you will run out of a memory at one point. So the server is filling up his memory, and at one point it will run out, or crash. That could take few minutes, but maybe even like half an hour, I do not know...Even if one card instance would be only one Byte (which it is not), server would neede memory of 4*2^349 bytes. Using a calculator, that is 1 * 10^68 GB, which is 1 * 10^65 TB which is 1 * 10^62 PB (That is petabyte). There is no way the server (ol all servers, if the memory would be shared) would have 1 * 10^62 PB at disposal. That is insane number indeed. Now ofcourse, one card does not allocate 1byte only, but more. Ofcourse, if you would have only one card instance in a memory, and add there number bnext to it, defining it's count, there would be no such problem. The problem is that the programeers chose to iterate and copy all the card instances (probably)

Legend says those abilities are still resolving to this day.

There should be an enchantment that says "if an opponent causes over 100 triggers they loose the game"

I was apart of the early beta testing for this game and I had built an infinite combo deck that made infinite bat tokens and gained infinite life. it was a fun deck to play.

LoL I did something similar on Magic online with "Precursor Golem", a 3/3 artifact that comes into play making x2 copies of itself. I hit the Golem with a "Rite of Replication" and paid the kicker to duplicate the Golem x5, then used two level 4 "Echo Mage" to make two copies each of "Rite of Replication". This created x5 "Rite of Replication" which will make 25 more Golems that each create x2 more copies of themselves. Then the fun begins cause the Golem says "Whenever a player casts an instant or sorcery spell that targets only a single Golem, that player copies that spell for each other Golem that spell could target. Each copy targets a different one of those Golems.". This will create 200 "very vulnerable" Golems, but it's fun to watch.

Haha I just figured out this combo myself, I got the stack into the 400s before I gave up. Gotta be careful running the m20 marauders Raptor with it. Automatic draw.

I had this conversation pulled on me early into my arena playing. They stopped the triggers and dealt enough damage that it said I had over 1000 health (some crazy number that wasn't negative any longer) it was a beautiful sight to see

Great combo! By the way, if you’re looking for more indestructible effects, song of freyalise, adamant will, sheltering light, unbreakable formation, and make a stand are all pretty solid options.

Your deck has been taking lessons from NES Tetris. Holding off on giving you the Assure you want, much like Tetris keeps withholding the I piece. That is amazing--you actually BROKE the game itself! (And proved that your computers could eat the WotC's server for lunch)

set a stop on your untap, so you can scry just before draw but after untap. It gets through your deck faster to the card you want when you scry with treasure map

poly raptor is my main deck on MGTA and I got a person to -4812 health when he had around 530 health due to his life link/ajani deck. Only reason why I didn't do more damage and get more poly raptors is because when you get to around 300-450 poly raptors it takes the game about 10 minutes to load it all in. Also try poly raptor and Verdant of the Sun, i got to about 5000 hp with it before my opponent conceded.

A better card for this deck would be something that gives all of your creatures indestructible rather than one. Join Shields, Chance for Glory, Make a Stand or Song of Freyalise are the ones currently in standard, if you don't count Lena, Selfless Champion, Vivien Reid's Emblem or Angelic Guardian. Or, if you want to keep with the single-target indestructible, I'd suggest adding more, or at least better ones, like Adamant Will, Dauntless Bodyguard or Sheltering Light

If the stack goes above 255 ever, or if you use more than 255 mana in a turn then the game will crash because apparently MTG doesn't understand that their fans will always find broken combos in the game.

I did this strategy before. My record was something like 118 polyraptors. I didnt use the method with unkillable forerunners though. I had two forerunners out each with a toughness of 4. I timed the ability so I only used it when the last polyraptor was out, ensuring that they doubled. The guy who sat there and watched it was a champ who had around negative 750 life at the end from my 6/6 dinos. The positive thing is after the 4th damage round, the forerunners died and the next 4 damage rounds went much quicker.

If you run Etali, Primal Storm you can play Forerunner of the Empire right before you attack with Etali to stack Polyraptor to the top of your deck and play it for free with Etali.

If you resolve Foreruner's trigger after last Pholyraptor token enters you can get more Pholyraptors in stack

In the game options you can manually order triggers, order the polyraptors before the ripjaws and you wont deck yourself

I prefer the combo of my husband's commander deck. Exquisite blood + Sanguine Bond, infinite life gaining and player killing, with a lot of cards to make players lose life or him gain life. Eternal loop until all dead but him. 1. Gain life or make a player lose life (easy on vampire deck) 2. Sanguine Bond makes target player lose life, as player loses life you gain life with Exquisite Blood. As you gain life, player loses life and so on until all opponents are dead. Or vice-versa. Any one will trigger it (gain life or opponent losing life).

you attack with 4000 tokens and he casts settle the wreckage and laughs at your silly attack as all your stuff just vanishes lol. that would be funny. you were right about the flash thing, I'm glad you put in the Epilepsy warning. I haven't had an episode since I was 8, but not taking any chances with this, just just closing my eyes as the flashes go on. you really need 4 copies of Assure in the deck and some way to fetch it, because this deck lacks consistency by the looks of it. but only if you want infinite dinos. In modern and commander, you can also use "Avacyn, Angel of Hope". you get her on the battlefield and every creature you own is indestructible. I need to try this combo in commander.

I do this in my gishath deck, with carthars crusade because edh is master format. Also works on a smaller scale with raptor hatchling if you can give them both indestructible

Who hurt you in your life? But this is awesome. I done the same with a tendershoot dryad, Ajani's welcome, Divine Visitation, Helm of the host, Ajani's pridemate, and that dino card that gives life based on the toughness of the summoned card. it was awesome

I use Marauding Raptor in place of Forerunner. Makes Polyraptor cheaper, and is just a flat 2 damage to entering creature =)

I broke forge slightly magic on my phone last night with that combo. Had over 350 on the stack, it finally froze when I got down to 74 left on the stack

If you press Ctrl, it allows you to hold priority before passing it back to the opponent

i have seen a nice combo on arena using the Forerunner of the empire were the Forerunner was on the feild with a Raptor Hatchling and a Frilled Deathspitter, the guy made the indestrusctible with Make a Stand and then played another dino and i died to the frilled deathspitted hitting me with 2 damage over and over while it toke me a minute to see what he was doing

Been running this since I started playing this client but I use "make a stand". That way you can pull the infinite off with poly or "Raptor hatchling" ... Sprinlke in death spitter for optional win con.

When the standard op software glitches do a alt control delete and look at the process of MTG and select it and click endtask then click back in throught the MTG icon you will go back to the same game.
