@@Damphyre Maybe. Just before it was doing around 30-40k damage during the whole battle. Now in the first minutes it does 60-70k. I didn't have a lot of battles with it and it was mostly against NPCs but still looks like a good improvement
Guardians AA absolutely tore my swarm fleet to pieces. Over 230k AA dmg dealt from those alone in a battle in conjunction with the server mod on it (which extended it to all ships in the midrow). My new tank fleet are using those as an area denial tank fleet and it's DUMB! As for the Carilions, still using them and they're still doing the job.
Heavy Cannon Combat Insertion strategy is good but in overall you do less damage because when ships are destroyed most of your fleet will have to lock on another target. I did 500k damage without the Carilion and 300k with it, against same fleet type (NPC).
you are correct. However I take into account the cost of killing a ship on the enemy. doing damage and an enemy running away means they still keep ships. Forcing ship deaths forces a cost on them causing them a economical problem, which is what the combat insertion strat does
@kennyutoob it's a specific one I can't remember exactly.what it's called off the top of my head. But the noma you can get from the outpost docking has silly fast cruise speed.
I'm trying to take into account the fact that energy damage now has a premium cost on it as of the latest patch so we should in theory see less energy damage out from player fleets.
