Another good thing is, when your base is under attack and base fleet is wiped(free cp usage) you can retreat sub-fleet from any structure and hit base attackers once again with full fleet.
The only thing that I don't like the most the boxes.I keep getting only tech points and not even a frigate just some aircrafts and corvettes for my light aircraft cruiser and duel heavy purpose destroyer
I will say the pilot server was a hot mess. My client worked for about 4 days then all my base facilities disappeared and all slots on my production queue got stuck at 4 hours 30. That was the end of my pilot server 😂
yeah it was a mess. It was hard to record it as it crashed on a whim for me constantly. Think the test video I did, I had to end up editing out 5 crashes in total and its only a 30ish min vid....
Imo for Light Cone A, I'd say pair it with Quaoar B and Guardian along side any of the Mare T line. The control operation really needs to be tweaked. I feel the rewards are just too low. For a lvl 4 Deuterium mine only gives you 70 Deuterium every 6 hours. It's just not worth it in my opinion. The only good use is controlling cities. Also you should see what is hiding inside the Gate in order to control it. Absolutely absurd IMO the best way they could have balanced Energy damage is simply by introducing more Energy shielding available to people as well as base energy resistances. 5% for Frigates, 10% for Destroyers, 15% for Cruisers, 20% for Super Caps. Imo they need to limit the amount of CP that you can reinforce a fleet with, I'd say 175 - 225 A good way to buff the HC Jaeger would be giving it the same Strategy HC Eris has, but like, double of HC Eris.
Why do you think those ships should be paired together? Do they synergize well or? Lucky I have all four of those ships’ base variants, for the quaoar, I luckily just pulled the B variant.
I kinda like the capture thing. And a lot of cities, especially near planets have resources in their area. Although target miners is against my alliance's rules if war
Games going downhill...the pve server spawned fleets at same time evertime and put western hemisphere players at a disadvantage..the added cp only hurts new players in 1st few seasons..this whole update is irrelevant its a 0 sum gain only now players withthe variants have bigger advantage than players un 1st few seasons
when theres a limited time research agreement we have a time limit right ?, what happened when we research a 4 days blueprint in a 2 days research agreement period ? do we still get the blueprint ?
Ignore the time limited one. You only get a small % of a ship. But it will still be active after the days are up, you just won't be able to start it again.
Did you ever manage to confirm your theory regarding the Mare Nubium’s new Control Operation module? Just watched your video and the update has me puzzled.
Now that the changes have come to the main server, what are your thoughts on Defensive Taurus instead of Aldabra? Same CP, Taurus still has its main pulse weapon, good AA from pulse turrets, and higher base health? Seems like win win win
For their cost and time to build they should basically be like your base but mobile...they should be able to build ships like you said corv and fighters or frig destroyers so they get more of a use..but they should build them as fast as your base builds them..they should buff the repair speed as well..in terms of RSS for building ships it shouldn't be the same as your base but slightly higher and I hate how ucoins are involved in it..they should flat out remove that...that will atleast make aux ships more useful..not to forget it's already annoying trying to pull one and get tp for it while they are super tp heavy

Hi, if you're using Aldabras as front row destoyers, would the Armoured type be better as they have more health and armour? they can't really substitute for Tauruses in terms of damage anyway... Also, are the defensive Tauruses not worth it? since they retain their original CP cost..
Well as you can see damage wise they very much are a substitute for Taurus as they keep up with HC eris. Defensive taurus might be with the AA buffs but need to test it out.
@limori2 look at the end battlereport. Paper dpm does not equal real world dpm and this is specifically in relation to PVP. My Taurus maxed does usually equal to HC eris or there about in PVP, aldabra here has done basically the same as my eris.
Rail gun turrets are top now followed closely by enery turrets. Torps are the best bow, heavy armour and energy armour interchangeable depending on situation (more healing in fleet run heavy armour). Spotting drones are now potentially best in slot otherwise it's cluster, aircraft hangars are situational
For cp you get 2 Ceres per cas, and 4 UAV's vs 3, but at even # of ships those 3 UAV's are better. Plus cas gets heal upgrades. Unfortunately Ceres and guardian don't get those. Tho guardian needs it more than Ceres, as Ceres has a higher base heal per UAV as well as having 2.
@Damphyre, When you create a ship, doesnt the CP cost add up to the Max base CP?, So increase Cost means less ships created?.....oops you mention it nevermind. Means I wont build mining destroyers so i can have my fleet comp
Before you don't build mining destroyers consider that they speed up mining vastly at that early mid game when running medium utility ships. This therefore allows you to expand the base quicker as you have more resources which in turn means more access to military docks wh8ch is more CP to spend. AC721 in mining fleets are still very much viable and I would recommend if you plan on tech rushing. If you have very early combat though from hostile unions well yeah you won't have the CP to build mining AC721 fleets.
@@Damphyre The only two Damage battle cruisers I have at the moment are the ES and tunderbolt, and my only other one is the ST. The game past P1 for me has been bearable, because I have some of the meta frigates and destroyers. So I have been able to survive better against the veterans/ whales than otherwise. But these cp changes to them will ruin me, I have no idea what to do anymore.
With enough TP, the Thunderbolt will be one of the strongest battlecruisers. If you want to create a super fleet that can handle up to 3 vs 1, the Thunderbolt is the essential ship, but CtG is not essential in that case. However, it is recommended to use it in conjunction with a spear. Most people don't test the Thunderbolt properly because it requires a lot of modules and costs a lot of money to put it to practical use. As a result, it is often underlated, but in reality the Thunderbolt has a good missile interception rate and anti-aircraft capabilities, and its low HP, which is considered a weakness, is hardly an issue.
Yeah they died fast. He's against swarm course they die fast 😉. As I mentioned in the video I only really test full fleet vs full fleet otherwise you don't get the picture of how it works in a fleet which is more important than if it can deal X damage in a very favourable match.
Solar whale nerf hits as fleets that utilize the upgraded strike range for area control. Need to have at least one whale in the use the strike, 10 more cp means 2 less flyers for strike, not a huge difference, but an annoyance.
Io and Conamara are definitely not good examples of AA since their strategies turn off those systems. I would love to see a dedicated tank AA fleet. In addition, with ships that have anti missile capabilities like Eris base/armored, Mare Tranq and Seren AA, does this also make their missile interception row level?
Ish, they do turn off the strats but it was to see.if just regular old ships now would do some AA, as we can see there's a marginal increase in damage at best. Interception in theory should be row wide as it uses the AA weapons to do it, I will be testing this at some point ASAP
@@Damphyreby what some of my alliance members said apparently that is not always the case, for example in theory the light cone strategy that moves the ship in front of the formation does not make the interception fleet wide like the AA coverage
Yeah working on that next. Need to work out though what good AA can fit in a tank fleet. As unfortunately a lot of our AA is frigate and destroyers so they won't fit into super cap fleet with CAS Aux

@@Damphyre what do you think they are going to do with the changes? Are they going to take the test server as is and apply it to the game or tweak it a bit then apply or no changes at all?
Because it has priority of battle cruiser first and cruiser second. Most players have been running max armor Spear or St59, which causes the Cell Defender to be minimum damage. CTG and Eternal Storm have lower base armor, but still get pretty high armor with tech.
I think most people have that love-hate thing with Cell Def. They hit like trucks, but because they get 'primaried' to oblivion, their outsize damage has quite a big counter. You're right though, there's not really any alternative.
@dopedaddy667 well that is unusual as they normally die in 5 seconds in pvp and cel def etc last longer than them. But yeah if they stay alive they can get some decent damage output and they don't have to deal with torp intercept chances.
Yeah got a couple quick test battles in with a swarm fleet vs heavy. Only 300 CP though as still building the base up to 400CP. Vid will release as soon as I can get time to edit
