Hey up Lads and Lasses, new to the channel is Infinite Lagrange. I will be covering this game from now on with a video every Thursday. Walkthroughs, Guides, Tips and Tricks is what my channel is about

AA Cone missile intercept for the win against vitas A missiles. Fleets make it back home better now lol

I didn't catch if he covered it's other super-power: it is virtually the only ship in the game that can intercept FLANKERS. It can hit flanking fighters and I believe missiles. Makes these things MONSTERS in most PVE city fights in tank fleets. With Spears, Chimera, CAS Aux immortal fleet variants, it makes them insane tanks for city fights, especially vs the super buffed, missile heavy fleets in Node.

You forgot to mention on the aa light cone that when you move it to front row it makes the AA fleet wide instead of just row wide

This is the most powerful part of it, and in my experience it doesn't become a priority target either so it survives pretty much the entire time. And I believe due to all of its strategies, because the AA is fleet wide the anti missile component also becomes fleet wide.

Generic type is really Bad huh, what do you suggest to replace its role to better the outcome ?

Compared to the other cone variants, well yea is bad, BUT if is the only ship you have it isn't THAT bad and still usable (I'm still running the basic model until I get the AA variant

@Dushman_1 was it ever really bad? I've never heard complaints about it. So long as you've got the right expectations, you won't be disappointed. Most people have it seems!

@@kennyutoob It isn't Bad you Can you use it for damage, but the AA variant IS just better and there are lots of other cruisers better than light cone

How do you Know how many shots are missed on your Battle report?

Yes I am genuinely curious of how you know a missile or torp has been intercepted. Because I never see it happen

Do you not know how to look up the intercept stats in BRs? If he's actually calculating % of intercepts out of total damage though, that's dedication.

@@kennyutoob no I had no clue battle reports showed anything related to intercept…I always assumed damphyre fought experimental fleets with and without interceptors and see the change in damages lol

Newlands are one of the ships I misguidedly continue to use against all the advice of pretty much everyone -- I seriously doubt they'll ever be meta.... really??

Probably not. Generally speaking if it's not possible to permanently knock out systems etc it's not so useful and systems all repair up to 3 times now.

Yeah, before the crit repair effect they were quite nice for a while, even after getting their original nerf-batting. I run in flanking fleet on predators with Hayreddins (and weirdly sometimes Janbiya; because Janbiya can actually kill aircraft hangars which even if repaired still deletes the fighters in the bay...).
