That board was generated by many different card activation which at any point couldve been interrupted and or completely stopped while on the other hand heres maxx c ONE card with not one restriction which has the capability of drawing 1+ cards and or stopping your turn…. Did I mention if you do decide to just not summon and end turn your opponent can now simply use any one card in their hand to create their board…. Hmmmmm

@@ogbarcode8777 So, you have no negative opinion *whatsoever* about the fact that Coder *required* nearly all the cards he’d drawn with Maxx C to *break* that board? There’s also the fact that your “could have been stopped or interrupted at any point” sounds extremely similar to “It’s not hard, just draw the out(s), man.” The only meaningful difference, is that you’re speaking specifically about one’s initial draw. You have a beef w/ the cockroach, I have a beef with making a deck out of 24 cards, because I *must* play Ash/Imperm, Called By, and two more 3-of interruptions more specific to the current meta, because failing to draw 2 applicable pieces of disruption *bare minimum* when going second automatically stacks the odds to nine-in-ten against taking the W. Every time I run up against a Deck that can blow through an Ash and an Imperm to full-combo on the third, if not fourth line of the turn (or two lines, then two more lines on *my* turn by my opponent), I’m glad Maxx C hasn’t been Banned.

It’s the worst of the hand traps because YOU STILL HAVE TO PLAY THOSE CARDS to stop the opponent plusing off Maxx C, every deck with a shred of relevance in Master Duel plays Maxx C. You really wouldn’t play called by? Or Ash? Because Maxx C is legal? Nah man, I *need* to play those cards to stop Maxx C even more, because it fucks you harder than any other hand trap and both decks will be playing Maxx C, combo or otherwise, almost every single deck relies on special summoning to one degree or another. Very few play around it. Don’t get me wrong I agree the other fact is an issue but lemme paint a slightly different scenario, where he builds up a board just like this but also has Maxx C so he’s able to plus even harder beyond his combo.

It’s been like that for a while. You still gain the same amount of time over all but it used to be +90s at the start of your own turn. Now it’s +30s at the start of your opponent’s turn and +60s at the start of your turn.

With the meta we have i would say it really is, idk why people complain so much about it.

I agree with playing even when maxx c'ed, 9/10 the opponent didnt brick and can still otk or make a unbreakable board. Still, everyone says maxx c is a problem, then i look at end boards like the one in this video, had coder not used maxx c, he would have had no way of going over that board, and even then he barelly did it. If maxx c is unfair, i say pretty much any end board like that is unfair too, so i dont agree with banning maxx c if it can still punish decks like that.
