@@bli2z4rd I mean maybe he equip it after dream nail NKG (I assume that how you have access to INKG fight) by using some mod. There are mods that allow you to change charms at anytime you want am pretty sure.
@@bilingualfish4246 ascended is pretty easy actually. You can take 2 hits, and I normally only take 1-2 hits. Radiant, on the other hand? Absolute hell.
This was absolutely incredible to watch. God gamer indeed. I'm always fighting either my controller or my game for dropped inputs; it's incredible to watch you do all those combos so precisely and so quickly.
God this looks fun. When you fight NKG, it feels like you’re dancing. You can play the fight for 30 minutes and never get bored. It’s addicting. I would love to be able to play infinite grimm instead of having to redo the statue over and over.
@@jellynautile7182 Carefree Melody is pure luck, I mean blocking a hit is good but it sucks because it's not consistent and the chance of it activating and blocking a hit is pretty low. I don't like leaving things up to luck that's why I hate the Markoth fight so much because it's pure luck where the nails appear and I tend to not have the best luck. To me Carefree Melody is the worst charm in Hollow Knight, but I am open to reasons why anyone think it's a good charm, you just have to explain it and not just say it is. Edit: OK Carefree Melody is not the worst charm in the game, heavy blow is because at worst Carefree Melody just doesn't work but for heavy blow at worst it screws you over especially with some of the money annoying enemy in the game the primal aspids. I'm sorry Carefree Melody fans but while I don't think it's the word charm in the game I still think it's one of the worst in the game because it's job becomes irrelevant if you're somewhat decent at the game, Grimmchild is better but it still sucks IMO but it sucks less than Carefree Melody plus you don't miss a sick boss fight if you go for Grimmchild instead of Carefree Melody.

I dealt 17000 damage in this mode and the speed was insanity , nkg but 3 times faster is something I don't wanna experience again This is one of the oldest modes in hollow knight I think something even older than godmaster dlc if I am correct
Sometimes a part of being a gamer is not thinking about what to do next, or what you are doing. It is knowing what you need to do. It is trusting your instinct, your skill, your eyes, and your hands. I have no doubt that at a certain point, Fire had no thoughts in his mind.
tbh that would be amazing challenge run if it scaled indefinitely and you could just try to get a highscore. There could be special rewards for achieving certain thresholds, basically I want to see something like this in silksong.

if you are still struggeling, try to analyse the fight and make yourself a plan on when to hit him. Dont rush him. You can for example just attack during his fire bird and flame pillar attacks. As soons as he opens his cloack, jump up and shade cloak through the third bird, so the second one of the high ones. Than smack him two or 3 times. With the flame pillar just stutter step a few inches forward until the fourth pillar spawned and give him an abyss shriek. Repeat until dead. Dont stress about hitting him while staggered, just heal. His claw attack into descending fire balls is the hardest move for me personally. You just need to train to see the right visual cue if he wants to slash or summon fire birds. If he wants to slash, dash opposite (maybe get one or two hits in) and then move a little bit in his direction to avoid the fireballs. They always have the same pattern iirc. His groundspike attack is easy to dodge, because it has a very generous hitbox. Much easier than pure vessels swords from the ground. Dont move inbetween his attacks, but analyze and move accordingly once he reappears. I just stopped trying to pogo him on his drill and dash attack because the one hit is not worth the risk. Either ddark or just jump over him. Take safe hits For me Quick slash, unbreakable strength, shaman stone and soul catcher worked wonders. But if you want to try him in godhome/pantheon, carefree melody is great for training his fight without instant punishment. Or use quick focus to get safe heals whenever he makes his spike attack
For anybody that still could use a suggestion: I failed so many times with damage based builds, but what really helped me learn and eventually beat Grimm and several hard bosses was quick focus + shape of unn. Learn every boss with heal builds because the longer you can hang in the fight, the more time you’re spending learning the moves. Once you learn it you can switch back to damage build and destroy
I really enjoy watching these kinds of videos so I can analyze, and then steal, Fireb0rn's strats on how to fight bosses. Not that I can get to this level without a lot more practice.
@@DitzyDollie22 agree especially that everything around the fight just makes the setup for it from the arena that changes during the fight and the music But I think team cherry was like nkg is already fighting you at 100% full power for the ritual and if they made him even faster it will way too hard for many even though it would make sense lorewise Keep in mind that team cherry when making this dlc didn't think godmaster dlc and the ability to refight bosses because if they thought about they would make adjustments to grimms fight to fit more like pure vessel
One kinda similar challenge I feel would be kinda fun to see if someone made it, is the Watcher Knights but every time you kill one two more activate. I'm really curious how many you could juggle before it just becomes too much.
