My mother has a 2019 QX60 AWD, and she always says how her 2WD QX60 oil change loaner cars are way faster. I’ve found that it does really good on pulls when you are already moving instead of a dig. Also the AWD system is front wheel drive biased, but there isn’t a designated switch to change it from 2WD to AWD.
The awd should be slower because of the added weight but its good for the winter time. If you haven't seen we took this same car and had some fun in the snow. We aren't 100% sure but we think that the launch is bad due to the cvt transmission, and thats why we think the car will accelerate better while moving instead of from a dig. Thank you for sharing we didn't think that the difference between fwd and awd would be all that different because we never driven the fwd version hopefully we could try the fwd version do a 0-60 and compare it to the awd version.
There is a click at the bottom of the pedal that you need 2 press for maximum acceleration and I would use it in 2wd mode instead since you're losing power above sea level. Idk if this has the switch
Law had his foot down all the way. He pushed through the click to get maximum acceleration. The car is awd and we have no idea how to switch it to two wheel drive if that is possible at all. Thank you for the suggestion.
