There is a big difference in putting beneficial herbs and putting grains, squash, carrots, and many more veggies and seed oils instead of mostly meat and natural meat fat.
Milk Thistle always upsets my dogs stomach where she'll start to grind her teeth. Are there milk thistle supplements that are better then others and won't cause gi upset?
My brother's dogs vet has tested her liver and has found too much copper in the liver... could this be the toxin in the dog foods he feeds kibble and something "expensive " from his vet ...😢
Synthetic copper is in many dog foods. If your brother's dog is suffering from copper storage disease - diet IS CRITICAL and this is true of supplements as well. While copper is a vital mineral, it should be avoided at this point until the dog is detoxed completely and the liver shows no signs of copper storage. Signs of copper storage are yellowing of the eyes, skin fur and so forth.
