Inflating, Deflating and Storing the Intex Excursion 

Thanks for this. I just took mine out for the first time last weekend and had a heck of a time getting it packed up tight. I'll try rolling it next weekend.

Nice video. Another option is to buy a large 100 qt cooler with wheels. Everything, including your boat, oars and life jackets will fit in it and then you can use the cooler on your boat to store your food, battery, etc. I stopped using that method, however, as I want to inflate my boat at the boat launch so I am always wanting to lessen the time it takes to inflate it. So I leave the motor mount on and use bungee cords to wrap up the boat. It won't fit in the cooler but you could then attach it on top of the cooler, with cords, and wheel everything. Finally, I don't know if I mentioned this before in your other videos, which I find very helpful, but I lose things easily and was afraid I'd lose the 4 inch measuring tool that gauges how inflated you are. So I downloaded a ruler app on my phone and it works great. Thnx for sharing.

Thanks for the video. Just a thought to share. I found it helped me a lot while deflating, I used the smooth end of a pencil with the eraser and gently placed it at the opening to keep the check valve flap in steady open position.

I lost my ruler to check the air pressure ! I would greatly appreciate if you can state any other method to check or send measurements of the scale so I could replicate. I checked with Intex and they cannot sell the ruler/scale separately.

Great tips. The deflating and rolling techniques helped us a ton. Thank you. One thing I noticed though after inflating the third chamber was the second chamber stretched a bit. The 10cm mark extended by about 15%. Is this normal? When we removed air to adjust back to a near 10, the third chamber became softer too. Should we just follow intex's steps 1-3 and not adjust the air? Would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.

hey is it normal to the 3rd chamber to start deflating when you open the 2nd one? i just bought a seahawk 2 and it looks like the 3rd deflates through the 2nd,~ looked everywere and cant find the answer Thanks

Hey thanks bud I've enjoyed this and the rest of your videos on the excursion five. I just picked up the Seahawk 3 for cost reasons. My question is, how concerned should you be about hard creases in the material while being stored? We just found holes from hard creases on my dad's ancient inflatable boat that hadn't been touched in years. Do you think it's okay to store rolled up like this from September to May?

How do you judge if your floor bladder is full enough? I tried mine for the first time yesterday and I just feel all around it was a little on the deflated side and could have used a tad more support

How big is the bin box? I was thinking to do the same. I have a 27Gal box
