I just had to comment bc I HATE the idea of Brooke thinking she comes across as mindless or "an audience surrogate." She literally ALWAYS makes good points, often original ones, and is generally the sole reason the podcast stays on topic at all. Connor is great too. I think they both bring equally positive things to the show (which is why it's one of my favorites). That comment was weird as hell, pointlessly large words and for what? Brooke seems very intelligent and if you have to catch the drool hanging from your "mandible" (girl, what?), that's on you lol.

i really applaud Brooke being the only woman in the TMG lineup because damn she experiences so much misogyny, it's not fair for her to experience these disgusting comments and being pushed to the side in videos, put down as a 'dumb sidekick', or told she's just a fangirl.

I cannot say enough how much I do not see neither Connor nor Brooke as the sidekick or the stupid sidebar. They are both somehow so self-aware and transparent and not intimidating and yet I’m so starstruck by them. I think their effortlessness is what’s so attractive, and if Wireless Bone Marrow or whoever can’t see that, that’s on them.

Actually, I agree with the sidebar thing, like Tim I'm a huge fan of this show. I absolutely love it! It brings me service when I've had a rough week, and I find this show amazingly entertaining. I love how this show can bring me entertainment when I'm feeling down. It's so gahd dam funny lmaooo

Yes, BUT, and this is important (and I am a huge Dillon-head), the big point Tim made about the Russia conversation was that the REALLY stoopid and reprehensible people are all the talking heads and other socially fawned-over conventional "experts" who B.S. us about EVERYTHING from the economy to wars to nutrition to history, etc. Someone like John Bolton for instance talking confidently about geopolitics is a F - ing PoS, while this podcast actually has a weird integrity to it.
