Again we have Hitler ranting in Inglorious Basterds, this time with english subs, and again mirrored to prevent any copyright removals If you want to download the unmirrored version for parodies or anything here it is : www.mediafire.c...
Ultrakillerism Christ, Tarantino would've had an amazing movie if it weren't so over the top. The Hans scenes were beautifully executed (no pun intended), and the tone set was for the most part satisfyingly dark and gritty. The "Basterds" bit, the whole idea of a single, seemingly invincible group marauding against a comically evil villain, should've been overhauled. Hitler wearing a cape, with portraits of his likeness behind him? It just seems like a child's rendition, a brazen attempt to *make sure Johnny boy knows who's the bad guy*. Look at Downfall. Are you looking at Downfall? That's the cheek-clenching tension and realism this film could've had. Again, Hans was a masterfully sculpted villain, and a movie centered on the struggle between him and the hiding Jewish family would've been astounding. Honestly, before I watched the film, I thought there were two seperate "Inglorious Basterds". One a serious, chilling recollection of the a family in hiding, and the other an Over-the-top Fictitious Comedy/ Rambo-esque/ American wet dream. I wish I had been right.
I die crying each time i see this scene. Hilarious sarcasm all over. Performance 10/10. I can only imagine how many times they had to re-shoot this scene, when 1 of the cast started to laughing :'D
I like the Golem detail, for anyone who doesn't know, the first Golem was reputedly created by a Jewish Rabbi called Loew to protect Jewish citizens of Prague from the pogroms in the 16th Century .
Zombiewithabowtie Oh yeah, that Czech myth. He ended up getting his soul taken away and his body was locked in a cellar. They say that he haunts the streets of Prague in the early mornings, trying to find his soul, and sometimes takes the souls of others. The again, maybe not.
Tarantino actually wanted to same actor from the Downfall to play hitler in this movie but sadly he was not avaible. imagine how awesome this scene would have been
Where is Krebs' fish and map, why did Jodl didn't object? Why is Goebbels not called Half Dead Monster? Where is Fegelein and his antics? Why did Hitler not scream "Fegelein!"
@@SoldierOfFate Sylvester Groth in Inglourious Basterds isn't a half-dead monster like Ulrich Matthes in Der Untergang. Sylvester Groth is a better looking actor for a beautiful Goebbels, completely different from Der Untergang's Goebbels, played by Ulrich Matthes.
After all this time, I just noticed this Hitler's Austrian accent. I like how the attention to detail was put up to that level. Besides the performance, of course. Short ago it was that I learned the difference in accent between Germans and Austrians.
I deeply love this movie, even many details that were made perfectly, like the Hitler in this movie, sounds the Austrian German in which the Hitler was born .not Hoch Deutsch.
I recognize the voice of Kliest, the guy at the other end of the radio conversation, that's Christian Brückner, the german voice of Robert De Niro , speaking.
Here's a Joke: Q: What did Hitler Say when he was stressed out? A: Auf Wiedersehen my friends I'm floating on Cloud Nein Nein Nein Nein Nein Nein Nein Nein Nein!!!! I'm not being racist to Germans I just love their language and accent and the people are funny lol!!! I know I do hate the fact hitler expelled Jews from his country but I still love Germany I'll always love Germany forever and Germans are smart, funny, polite and good people!!
Bruno Ganz played a realistic Hitler. Martin Wuttke played a Disney villain Hitler with that fancy cape and the funny expressions, which was exactly what Tarantino wanted, to make fun of Hitler and the Nazis. I think those are the only two good portrayals of Hitler.
Not the same movie used, but what you were talking about (5 years ago 🤣🤣) does exist. Look up "Hitler's reaction to Red John Episode" to see someone's reaction to "The Mentalist" episode where Red John was finally revealed.
Shame the subtitles on this clip lose some of the humour of the original subtitles. For example, in the official English version, Hitler is subtitled as saying "Who or what is a Private Butz?", which is much funnier (and a more accurate translation of what he actually says) than "Who is this Private Butz?"
Can you imagine Clint Eastwood , Quentin Tarantino, and the crew of Inglourious Basterds "let lease the dogs of war"on the disgraceful state of the planet right now ! How Inglourious !
When ever I want to irritate a German I want him/her to shout "nein nein nein!" and my reply will be "Ok I'm calling nine, nine, nine." to call the police for being annoying
Wasn't there another clip from the movie (lke the cinema scene where some people kill the some of the audience before the theater is blown up) without any subtitles?
First time I saw this film I wasn't impressed, despite being a Big Tarantino fan. But, like with some (usually class) films it grew on me, quality movie, I now love it. Anyway, Hitler ranting (be it in this, or Downfall- or anything else) just cracks me up, it's hilarious! Good thing I wasn't at the Nazi party rallies I suppose; they wouldn't have appreciated me pissing myself with laughter! ;-P
