If I were her, I would have taken the husband with me, along with a gun. Upon discovering the prisoner, I would have immediately called the cops. Would tell the mom afterwards, and seeing as she actually did know about the prisoner, she can deal with cops and the problem. Her deal, not mine. The reason many tend to believe that they're "bad lawyers who couldn't work anywhere else" is either because they represent the Poor (something Private Attorneys scoff at), or they represent the undoubtedly Guilty (something a Private Attorney would never do). Yes, it's true (to some extent) that in more of the major Districts where the average income is lower than the national avg., and the crime rate is higher, that it's not uncommon to find Public Defenders working multiple cases at once, with little time to thoroughly examine the Cases individually. But to so callously paint all of the individuals in this profession with the same brush...tells me that you wouldn't know the first thing about Public Defense. Tell me, where did you earn your Law Degree?

It's madness. Guess he had under 1k for two or three years (only 400 subs 10 months ago, from another comment). The algorithm gods blessed him a few days ago and the insanity ensued. I started watching his videos on Wednesday (~20k subs) and subbed on Thursday (~40k subs) and now it's Saturday (211k subs). And these are all new subs, which means they're actively watching his videos. Hopefully now that he's able to monetize it'll actually make him some cash.
