You know it's way too cold that even a Khajiit is concerned over Skyrim's typical weather. As for argonians....maybe stick them in a mammoth hide cloak and have them carry a torch?
@@bigkirbyhj666 She can't? She dies in Every single encounter when I have her a follower and need to reload to resurrect her, put her to wait outside and deal with problem... So I leave her home
As much as I like Skyrim, inigo really shows the depth they could have gone with NPCs. There’s really few real characters rather than cut outs in the game.
@@Arvel_The_Swit I don't know if this was due to an NPC mod or not, but I had a similar interaction with Erik when I read a black book. I got the one from the dwemer ruin and as the cutscene started to play he said "not again" as I was pulled in. It actually made me laugh so hard I almost got killed by a seeker.
I really like “dumb” or generally “distractable” characters. Dunno why. I just do. I feel like that personality fits very well with lydia, which is why i want a revoice mod for her to show this personality.
Now I want Inigo to have an interaction with M'aiq. "M'aiq is done talking." "But surely you have something more to say?" "M'aiq is done talking." "I do not believe you are being entirely truthful..."
LMAO. Same. All my followers Carry any armor or stuff. Or it all sits on the armor stand (things forgot what they are called). Makes things so much easier
i'm still impressed with that mod to this day, the way inigo interact with you, quests, characters, makes the game so immersive, probably one of the best mods
Amy 14444 I always feel like I’ve achieved something unique whenever both squad mates have a three sentence conversation and then Shepard interjects. It was sorta like that with Inigo, and honestly it’s a pity that the vanilla followers in Skyrim don’t have that level of personality among other NPCs. But then again Inigo has like 7k lines or something so.
Amy 14444 Yeah, I felt the followers in Skyrim were a bit quantity-over-quality, which is part of the reason why I love BioWare’s companions so much. For the most part, they feel like real people, and so having a conversation with Inigo feels like I’m actually communicating with a good friend. Kind of a weird way to put it, but many of the followers from the vanilla game have little to no personality and so just feel like an NPC. Aside from Lydia. She has a special place in my heart.
@@Arvel_The_Swit There is a mod for that on Nexus called Amazing Follower Tweaks. I'm currently using it, and there is an option for your current followers to start interact with close surroundings when things are idle. There are another options in this mod, like riding horses together, but I mostly use this mod so I didn't accidently kill incapacitated follower in the battle by friendly fire and don't have to reload because of that. Reloading is a bit annoying for me and breaks the immersion.
Mjoll comes from Norse mythology, she's supposed to be the daughter of svaen, and has 2 sisters. Her name means snow, so does her father svaen's name. It also means snow
I'm so glad he talks to Kharjo because hes my vanilla follower in nearly every play through before I got to mod skyrim and I fucking love that I get two khajiit bros along for the ride now, Bethesda TAKE NOTES
All are vanilla lines only. If you're thinking of Lydia's one then you never have asked her to cook I guess. Command her to cook and then interact, she'll speak those lines.
It helps that there's only like 5 voice actors in this game, so there's a *lot* of dialogue to choose from for a character, since that character's voice actor has done many other character's lines.
If you have Lydia and Indigo together for quite sometime they have a ton of interaction, and it is amazing. I will stop what I'm doing and listen in and most of the time it's absolutely hilarious.
The only special followers I know Inigo will interact with are characters present in other follower mods, like Lucien Flavius. I don't think he interacts with Cicero, Serana, or Frea.
That's how the mod dev made these interactions so seamless, like they were in the game to begin with. He took lines from various characters with the same VA as the companion Inigo would have a conversation with, and then carefully worded them so that all the conversations made sense with what he had to work with.
I've gotten so used to Lydia actually being intelligent and having a minimum personality with RDO and ICO, that their scene felt a little jarring! Great stuff though, I've seen this mod around for quite a bit, but since I use EFF I've always been a little scared such extensive work might break or conflict with other scripts
Inigo has a sunny personality, positive attitude, and upbeat tone of voice without being overbearing. That's a fine line to walk, and one I have only seen done successfully by fans. Game companies don't seem to know how to do it.
I love how Inigo is conscious of other NPCs' awkward dialogue. It's almost like he was created by a real person with the time and dedication to write a full character with a braincell. He feels so much more realistic than other NPCs, and I can easily imagine that he's an actual person who somehow traveled from the real world to a video game without realizing it, so he interacts with the NPCs with a bit of confusion about why they're... like this.
You should make a part 2 for Lucien's lines! The two interact with each other a lot, and Inigo comments on Lucien's unique quest location as well, it's awesome. Those two and Ma'kara from the Khajiit Will Follow mod make the perfect adventuring squad. Ma'kara dual wielding, Lucien casting spells, and Inigo being a sniper or tank depending on what you need
I wish mod authors on Nexus would make more (lore-friendly) companions like Hoth, Inigo and Lucien for Skyrim instead of those big tiddy demon cat girl mods.
@@Arvel_The_Swit and besides that, big tiddies should be proportional where they do exist. Not send someone's center of mass into the stratosphere. Also, I don't see gargantuan knockers being good for a sword maiden. Having a nice set of melons would seemingly get in the way.
Bruh.. be the guy then.. you do know mod authors...are well basically like u and me.. once?... Anyways after years of skyrim and fallout 4 I'm fully ready...for starfield.....if it's moddable which it will ..I will try all my effort to do the best for modding community
