There's something bigger than Darkseid coming. Superman actually made Darkseid back off a bit in the Injustice Comics. I'm thinking a "Crisis On Infinite Earth's" type of thing
"Sounds like a job for me" There it is. That glimpse of the true Superman before all this started. The definition of a boyscout who faces everything without fear and with a smile to bring hope. You can hear it, in his voice, the confidence as a way to assure people that everything will be okay. He put himself on the line to save Metropolis and the cities which Braniac snapped up into his collection. That made me smile so hard
Killing Brainiac is not a problem. He is not a biological being after all. He's a robot. But killing him would not end him because he has duplicates throughout the universe. The right choice is to keep him alive and make him alive and make him put this cities back to place. That's why I chose Batman.
Batman didnt want him alive. Hell, Batman caused deaths of both human and nonhuman beings in the past. He dont want to kill but doesnt have to save them. The only both reasons Batman didnt want to kill him was simple: 1-) He could not take the risk of losing not just their cities, the other worlds as well. 2-) He realised Superman could control the ship. He didnt want him to have that much power.
There are two versions of Brainiac, the robot version you see in cartoons and the organic version that got first introduced in comics. This Brainiac is clearly an organic alien with high tech armor. That’s why Bruce didn’t want to kill him.
Nobody else is going to call out the obvious absurdity of Superman being able to mentally control a ship designed by a computer for a computer by simply jamming two damaged wires into his temples? I mean, it'd be one thing if he used an appropriately designed, working organic/machine interface, or if Cyborg had done it, but this?!
It’s even trippier when you play as Brainiac on the ship, because his super move features his ship as well. So it’s like somebody in the ship in space is getting shot with a second ship of his, the latter of which is somehow in Earth’s sky as well - it’s strange. 😂
Gotta be honest, I was kind of rooting for Brainiac while playing this game. I don't condone his actions at all, but he's such an awesome character. Well, that and he shares a VA with another fave character of mine, The Question. Also, I love how at 1:06 Batman's reaction is just like "yikes. unfortunate my dude."
LOL, than Batman should've made that exception a long time ago with Joker, and none of this would've happened. It's all his fault that Superman turned evil. He's always trying to save everyone, even in detriment of himself and his allies. Nightwing was right about Bruce, he should be in Arkham.
Michael Estepp People make this mistake all the time. It wasn’t Joker’s death that caused the Regime to be formed. It was Joker’s actions. The death of Lois and the child and the millions of people in Metropolis. Joker’s death was the result of Clark losing his mind, not the catalyst.
Superman: yes it is Bruce. Metropolis and coast city are gone. How many more innocent people die before you accept some lives need to be taken ? Well he is not totally wrong.
they do realize Brainiac is not going to stay unconscious forever. Plus, Batman and superman could have solve their different by simply discuss and find an agreement. but i guess batman sucks in discussion
am I the only one that thinking super man tring to kill himself? I mean "this could kill you" "sounds like a job for me" he is genociding all villians he get and now doing this? I think he want to die while causing most damage as possible because of his anger!
The fundamental failing of most "superheroes" is that they don't kill their enemies who will reappear eventually and start shit again. What kind of a hero are you if you allow your enemies to keep coming back to do more destruction? The rational answer is to kill them quickly and never regret it.
That’s a very slippery slope, my friend. Even if it’s just one, and even if it’s completely justified, that’s always the hardest kill. It becomes much easier to kill after that. Eventually, it becomes so easy you stop caring about who you’re killing. And at that point, are you any different than the villains?
