i love angel's tattoo, i kinda see where the judges are coming from but it's still a realistic sphynx. if i took my cat and put it under a blue and pink light that is pretty much exactly what it would look like

I agree it’s one of The best I’ve seen on the show. I rarely like any of them enough to say “I’d be happy to blindly get that one” but that’s one I would be happy with.

Angel’s color surrealism/realism sphinx tattoo completely blew me away. Between that and her Cat-erpiller, those are probably two of my favorite designs

As someone who usually HATES colour realism, I would never wear pants again if I had Angel Rose’s 12 hour cat tattoo. That thing is so fucking nice! Also that Cat-erpiller is something I would absolutely love to have. She ain’t a black and grey realism artist, she is just a powerhouse artist and anyone she tattoos should feel honoured.

Amanda should be proud of that biker cat. You can tell that it's suppose to be a biker cat. She did great. There are probably people who've asked her to do that since the show aired.

Angel's tattoo was so good, it doesn't matter if it didn't hit every challenge requirement. All the judges there would proudly wear that. Def one of the best I've ever seen on Ink Master.

As someone who is making a whole cat tattoo sleeve, I love seeing cat tattoos on this show. And I actually got a cat tattoo from Holli Marie of seasons 12 and 14. And if I ever get the chance to get tattooed by Angel, I want her to do a cat-erpillar on me. And her photo realism cat is amazing and I’m jealous of that person who has it.

I hate how they complain about having person of color as a canvas. They should be able to tattoo anyone. That’s part of it

They can. The problem is that there's a time limit for the sessions in this show. Bright, saturated colors tend to get dull on a darker canvass if you don't spend time correcting it's distribution and density. (For example, try applying the same shade of dark red on black paper versus white and yellow paper.) For color to show brightly on darker skin, enough time has to be spent to make sure that it's in there deep and tight.

I dont think its because they dont like people like me, its just that as a South Sudanese woman my skin is very very dark and tattoos dont show up well on my skin tone. This is not about racism its about someone wanting to win a tv show. As you say they should be able to tattoo everyone, but to make things more fair they should have one week all dark skin tones for everyone and then next week the same tones of a different skin color. Again, I dont think they hate black folk.

I completely disagree I absolutely hate roly’s tattoo the nose is ugly, the black and grey doesn’t look good and will fade out and she will never be truly happy with it because it’s not exactly what she wanted

I hate it too maybe he should of look up what and Egyptian cat looks like cause that ain’t that. And I wouldn’t be happy cause if I asked for colour I want colour not black and grey. Maybe he shouldn’t of gone on ink master if he can’t do colour. Also how did he make to the end

There are definitely enough cat tats that weren't shown that could warrant a part 2... for "best", Jake's Japanese cat and Gentle Jay's odd eye sternum cat (which happens to be one of my faves), and for "worst", MV's sphinx seal cat lol

LOL...that bald cat was actually not bad. They ARE that freaking ugly and wrinkled (some of them more than others). They're bred that way on purpose to add more wrinkles just like the Shar Pei dogs. I'm assuming that he's talking about the waviness which does look strange but it kind of goes with the weirdness of the tattoo all around. Edit: Glad they liked it so much. Good job, Angel.

Most of the time it seems like they just get in their heads and start making bad choices. They psych themselves out instead of accepting the challenge as a way to push yourself and do new things. I've seen several artists just make themselves too nervous.

I'm new at all this. Could somebody tell me that after the competition is completed, do the artist get to finish up their tattoos? As a canvas, I wouldn't want an unfinished tattoo. 🇨🇦
