I'm not a vehicle guy or an engine guy but the cross plane sounds very coarse, like someone's voice after they've woken up in the morning. The flat plane sounds smoother, like someone's normal voice
In Jetplane I prefer inline crossplane whereas in a Rocket I prefer flatplane..call me a weirdo it's okay because many of you haven't ride or fly both of them, only the one's who have will know 😊😊😌😌😌😂😂😂
@@thegoatrider_heard both in real life from MT-10, Z1000R, ZH2, ZX6R and R6 his right because to me i4 crossplane just sounds like a single cylinder or a 2 cylinder flatplane when running at cruising speed no matter what exhaust it uses its just allot louder though it sounds very good at idle but it sounds almost identical to those 2 cylinder flatplanes or 1 cylinder engines, 4 cylinder flatplanes on the other hand sounds very exotic and unique for a 2 wheeler vehicle to me it's very smooth, loud and bassy and it's one of the things that makes a motorcycle very different from the conventional motorcycle engine that we know.
@@thegoatrider_ @thegoatrider_ yep I never owned any kind of big bikes but I always heard many of them in my area almost everyday, it's just the sound of yamaha's crossplane very loud and rough, yes crossplane sounds really good on idle but when it starts running it would still sound very close to an open pipe 150cc engine just louder, what I find so good about i4 flatplane is that they sound like a hypercar or an F1 race car and for a 2 wheeled vehicle it's a very unique sound for a motorcycle.
@@johnmichaelparedes7987 as i said. You never had group rides where everyone has flatplane inline 4. And they all sounds the same. I hear them almost everyday. Because i already owned a z1000. Sounds kinda boring after many miles of using. Sold it and bought mt10. Best buy. Different perspective from different experiences. I mean you dont have experience xD. Not gonna blame you. Cheers
