God bless Jimmy McGill we need more people like him I am in recovery and if I had something like that to help me it would have been a lot easier to get clean and sober
Wow… that was the most powerful interview I’ve heard. Truly amazing what that man has done and hearing him talk you can tell how much he cares. The world needs more people like you and Jimmy. You keep posting I’ll keep watching 🤙
Been following Jimmy for a while. I'm from Fort Smith, Arkansas. Got clean from fentanyl and xanax in November. I spent a lotta time relapsing and withdrawing and found his TikTok. Defitely inspired me to take the steps to get clean. Super dope to see him on your page!
@@milkimadethebeat7858lol you do realize re-lapse is inevitable. You might as well just give in to the temptation & start using again. It’s not like it’ll automatically make you de-rail & spiral out of control… A few pills during the music festival isn’t going to hurt. If anything it will be a chance to relax a bit & take the load off.
Thank you for your story and thank you Ian for putting these story's I enjoy watching them I like to see the getting out of the problems they have been through and your story also thank you much Ian
10 minutes in and I relate to everything he has said. My dad died at 43 from an overdose and I used to tie his arm off too. Then I followed in his footsteps until around 33. I'm 39 now and never been better. Thanks for sharing
Heading to treatment Monday. I tried to get in one detox after the next and none accepted me for one reason or another even though I was visibly sick as hell. I eventually beat the withdrawals cold turkey while trying to get in. I've been at the shelter to make matters worse, in the belly of the beast around all the drugs. When my friends sent money I spent it on monsters and cigarettes. I get to start a new life Monday. Thanks for the inspiration. Sometimes it's one day at a time, others it's an hour at a time. Thanks for a good two hours of recovery! Bless you both!
I hope you’re one month clean and doing well! If not, you have another chance now my man. You can do this friend. Your life will be so much better and you’ll look back and thank yourself and a higher power
@@bradenv9592 90 days clean tomorrow. I already had 3 weeks by the time I got in treatment. I had to watch people smoke Crack and shoot fentanyl in the bathroom at the homeless shelter until I finally got in. Today I have 89 days clean.
Wow thank you so much what a great share basically just got my meeting in for the day and Jimmy McGill you have inspired me to once again want to get in the field of addiction again hope i follow through this time and cant forget to mention BIG COUNTRY LOL JD DELAY with the inspiration piece as well love you guys God bless broskis
I know you keep saying it’s one choice that changes everything but every guest makes it pretty clear it’s not one choice. It’s a culmination that leads to the choice. Good interview thanks.
God is so good! This man has been the definition of being the hands and feet of Jesus in the recently very community. And it’s so good to see all of you guys who work in recovery, getting together and spreading awareness. Keep it up, much Love Ian and Jimmy
Naw son. The white man ain’t god. Listen to this white guy addict tell his story Bible ‘ god is not a man. He who dies on cross is cursed. No 31:21 one can bear the sins of another’
Hey Ian, thanks for your videos and for the folks willing to bare their "souls." I wish my fiance wasn't so shy and quiet, i would definitely get him in touch with you, his story is one to hear as well. His hope, our hope is we deter our children and others from the life he previously lived.
I love tour stuff bro keep pumping out tons of videos like you have been I litarly been watching every video and it's really helping me get through addiction I have that I'm trying to beat and even a hour or 2 turns me around so much u don't even know love u bro from Toronto canada
4:29 "I got prison ink on both sleeves." Literally has no tattooed sleeves. I thought maybe bro meant quarter sleeves, but I don't see that either 🧐. Great story though, awesome recovery. Thanks for sharing 🫡
*Fully pardoned with firearm rights* Congratulations Jimmy!!! That's so amazing, getting those back is the ultimate symbol of change imo, you're officially a law abiding citizen now trusted to have a tool for hunting and home defense, something everyone who's free deserves to have! Keep up the great work and continue to show society that addiction is not all a person has to be, even some of the most extreme addicts can come back for an amazing 2nd or 3rd act in life!
I am addicted to this show. I find it odd some systems develop raced based gangs and others not at all. The economics of prison is intetesting. Some inmates are basically rich and others poor like life outside.
I question some of the things I hear in the prison genre as well. I saw and did my fair share of drugs while locked up, but I never saw a knife or a booty bandit, and never heard of either one being around. Where I was at, it was basically like a day care for adults that were in time out. There were a few fights (I was in one), but I never saw any of the crazy stuff these guys talk about.
Right I’m no stranger to doing a stretch back in the day but some of the jail stories some guys say i smh just like that show 60 days in those prisons are exactly like ones I was in but with out the “the pod leader” or shit like that I mean you got your corals and shit, but nobody was scared there no way I would ever ever ever be intimidated by one of those scruffy scrubby looking pod leaders in that show when you get your few people that are coward, but not like them shows
I came here because I seen yo say some wild shit on an instagram clip 😂 yo said “they lying if they would’ve came up to me talking crazy like that I would’ve knocked you out and touched your butt punk” 😂😂 that shit took me out but this white dude funny as shit
I like how he called out the bull shit about people regularly getting the butt taken! It absolutely isn’t the best environment but from my experience no one in prison likes a thief or a bully and they absolutely would rise against most bs people blab about happening
I fucked up and showered without shoes one time when I was locked up. I got some crazy kind of Athlete's Foot that took me ten years to get rid of. I had to go on prescription meds. It was terrible. For me, the hardest thing to get used to when I got out was sleeping in the dark. They left the lights on 24/7 where I was at, and I got used to sleeping with the lights on. It took me a long time to get accustomed to the dark again. My senses also went crazy when I got out. We didn't have outdoor yard, so I had basically smelled nothing but feet and ass the whole time I was in. The first time I smelled a flower was crazy.
Yea I was conceived in a prison my dad got work release and I was a dirt road baby lol it's funny but not at the same time my mom passed when I was 5 I ended up doing 10 years and I thought every kid seen that too
I'm in the Memphis Tennessee / Olive Branch Mississippi area I got five years some rough alcohol 6 years clean on drugs My ex left eight days before last Christmas and I would like to get into like a 3/4 way house or something a resident program I just need to get back involved❤❤❤❤
I knew some guys from a job I had for a while they were all hooked on meth. That’s the first time I saw a drug that made people who could not see how they where slipping down the road to destruction. Most drunks will say I’m a mess, pot heads will take a month off, meth makes you crazy and part of the crazy is everyone else is crazy I’m just fine. Don’t do those white powder drugs kids. TakeCare, BeWell, and StaySafe ✌️💚🖖
Rpf is like a snitch camp u have to write others up, usually get a few buddies and y'all agree to write each other up so no bs gets started and u ain't got to tell like if someone sags u have to write them up rpf is crazy
I got that same charge pulled over to sleep cause I been up for days wake up with 3 cops banging on the windows car was off but got a dwi because I had assess to the keys .. .2 of soft I'm the middle console wich was my passengers and that was what started my bids
Addiction shouldn't be so fucking taboo, I'm an addict and it's hard for me to get help because of it, fucking whack ass society we live in, " just brush it under the rug"
In 2017 I had a very good career doing underground line work..I was hooked on dope. Told my wife at the time need rehab the company pays for the rehab and also pays you while you're there she said if u go to rehab u have no home to come back to.. two days later left my house left my truck moved in with family in a different state
Ian said that they have a bigger platform that Senators, Congressmen, and Mayor's because they have more followers. Bro, that's not how society works. You guys have an audience but you're underestimating the power of elected officials.
@ianbickCT this was great. Not only for former inmates but for anyone in life who sits around making an excuse that things are too hard or that they can’t do something. This man did, so can you! Wow! Ian, you’re getting good, everyone in your field is on notice! 😂
All the would be booty bandits are all lined up on the door beating the dime. Mapping down female guards. Edit* he said it! 😂 mapping em down edit** he said beating the dime! 😂. Them boys catching the sex offender registry on a short time 6 month sentence. It’s really sad while im laughing
