Thank you for sharing the settings you use for Split Ride, I found that very informative. And the nugget about the 10 amp charger. I'll have to go and find a source for that. Great content and I like the format / breakdown you use. Thanks!
Finally somebody who talks about the settings on the V12: offroad/commuting, pedal sensitivity, and split ride mode! What's your preference for pedal sensitivity btw? Don't think you mentioned it in the video. Edit: also what rear light attachment do you have on there... and I just tried split mode... it does make a world of difference for me... but for some reason, it would sometimes go back to 50% default setting after I power it off??
Super sweet wheel I haven’t seen a whole lot of negative info. Good work Monocat!, and inmotion! Any word on the V13? Hmmm I can’t wait to see some reveals
@@ThePaikMan thanks for asking, I could write a huge reply but I’ll keep it short. I got mine less than a month before the mos problem became apparent, mine is slated to have a new board swapped. The wheel itself is still pretty amazing, I would have gone with an RS but I had to have the IP rating. All in all, if I’d known what the future held, I would have got a Sherman and saved up for a V12HT. Honestly, there still does not exist a wheel that satisfies safety, performance, and quality IMO. We’ll have to wait and see.
Have you ridden a V11 Monocat? I'd love to know what you think of them compared to each other. They seem very different but overlapping target audiences?
I’ve only tried it two times so far, so I don’t have an opinion on it yet. But soon I’ll have time to try it more often and probably review it as well :)
Concise and really convincing review! Hope I'll end up living somewhere where I'm allowed to drive an EUC at some point in the future xD For now, gotta check Adams review, wanna see what he has to say^^
I notice you have the NyloNove foot plates on the wheel. I put them on the 16X (another 16" wheel and was very impressed with them). I have just received some more for the S18. I haven't ridden the S18 with the NyloNove yet, but I have already noticed the increase in foot plate angle a feature I appreciate on the 16X.
@@Cons2911 I love this wheel. I have a KS 16X and x2 Ninebot One E+ wheels, but the S18 suspension is what makes the difference. It is comfortable to ride, up and down kerbs like a pro. I get about 26 miles usable range (it will go a bit further) and I ride up too around 26mph (it will go faster). ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O3eqpbdJUVY.html
I think this is the first review I see that mentions the code for locking. How does it work? Does it work like a phone? You press the power button and it locks? Then you press it again and enter the code to unlock?
I want to ask if Adam or do you know how much is the useful life of an electric unicycle (not the battery) I calculate that it can be 20,000 Klm. I'm wrong?
For the wheel it needs to be bigger, I agree with you there. But for me it is enough, because I’m more concerned about getting my gear/clothing dirty and not the wheel :) the wheel is much easier to clean
Hey Kate thanks for the great information. I bought the V12 for my first wheel but I'm struggling with the weight of it and wobbles when attempting to turn. To be honest, staying upright is a challenge lol. I weigh 75 kilo but you ride the V12 with ease at 60 kilo 😲 I moved the pedals to the lowest setting but still struggling. What pressure do you have in the tyre? If you have any tips for me I would appreciate it. Thanks for the great content, stay safe.
The whole point of having an EUC is to be convenient...not 30Kgs...everyone is getting lost with going faster etc...get a motorbike? This isn't aimed at the creator it's to the community as a whole. I have a Z10 and an S2 and recently got an Inmotion V8F which is great for me psi at 48 and trolly handle great and light enough to carry without looking awkward. V8F is the one for me...less is more at times 💯
@@mrsoft7022 don't get me wrong, I wish eucs are lighter but with good range. I have a v12 and I'm new, and yes the weight is a factor esp early on. Its harder to handle as I learn but I'm improving. Maybe a few hours more of practice I'll be able to go longer without bailing
its not recommended charging more than stock, as LG M50LT cells is rated as 0.3C, so max i would use would be 5A charger. And Inmotion, youre bad bad boys to not showing to us individual cell voltage as on V13, imo you should do us small bms upgrade for that on V12 too
