I’ve just had a moment. I feel like it’s my inner child making me work SO hard! Like all I’ve seen my entire life was my mother working so hard and that having time off was never possible. I literally feel mind blown!

I am currently having CBT for emetophobia (the fear of vomiting) which I have had since I was a young child. This made lots of sense to me because I am reverting to a child when I panic about being sick or someone else being sick. I have a baby and I am unable to be a proper nurturing mother for him when he is unwell. Would inner child work help me?
