Great information on video thanks I think my g8 has same issue my boot looks bent up like yours before you removed boot mine also needs outer tie rods I can turn my hand I don’t think mine has been replaced since stock has No grease fitting just got car ima definitely use this video to fix mine just ordered parts waiting for it get in at parts store n will get to changing it out then go ahead get alignment after is installed
Pretty good video. The only thing I'll say is usually what I do is Mark, the threads on the old inner tie rod remove the outer tie rod from it. Line up the threads on the old inner tie rod to the new inner tie rod and mark the new inner tie rod then put the outer tie rod on the new inner tie rod. The way you did it measuring from the ball and socket to the end of that bar will be longer when you put the new part on because the new part isn't bent
