I checked the ingredients list, and I don’t recognize any actual *holding* agents in that gel - so pretty awesome that it’s effective at keeping a style (or our coils, in general) intact without frizz. Your 1-product wash-n-go looks great! Nevertheless, I love a good leave-in plus a cream/butter on top of that for retaining moisture, giving shine, etc. After I add my favorite leave-in and twisting cream, I top it with a gel that’s compatible with those two products so that my hair stays frizz-free for at least a week. I’m enjoying Cantù gel now, but may give Innersense a try.

I have the gel, and I also purchased the I create definition foaming mousse. I love the mousse. However, it is sticky, and your hair is hard. I am on day 8 with my curls. Lol. Definitely put a moisturizing leave in, and you are good to go. If you buy the mousse, do not use it with the gel. It will be too hard. I like the mousse with aunt jackies don't shrink gel. The I create hold gel you can pair that with a light butter or creme or use it with a moisturizing leave in. Great video....

Hello hello! I am going to try it with a leave on. I actually have the mousse and have used the gel and mousse together 😂😂😂, what a disaster. My hair was a whole helmet for over a WEEK 😵‍💫. I al going to try the mousse with a leave in and see what that does.

@CammyjOfficial lol, I did try it that way, too. I do have the Innersense quiet calm curl leave in. I will try that next. You should do a video with a leave in. You should put more water for wash n go it works better.

I’ve been using this on and off about a year. Candace Witherspoon’s (NYC) recommends using a lighter gel under it, Uncle Funky’s does well in balancing the crunch and makes my hair feel a bit more touchable. Earthtone’s Natural Curling Gelly has always made my hair feel moisturized on its own. Using just a little of it with ICH gives great definition to my coily, and somewhat bushy at top of head, becomes defined, but more supple because of that Gelly.

I love this gel ! I pair it with their cream and love the results ! So far the only gel that that has held my curls for days upon days is the bee girl gel although it makes my hair stiff .

The leave in is used to protect the hair and keep it conditioned underneath that gel layer which hardens…idk I want to try it one day with just gel but I’m on the fence lol.
