I like the inNo64 advan Corolla. I like that it doesn't roll that way it can't fall from my shelf.

Nice review! I own a lot of each of these. I've taken about 5-8 of each out for the boxes to twirl around and place on flatbeds/dioramas etc. Both are fragile. I've broken a windshield wiper off a Tarmac BMW (my fault as I was cleaning the windshield and didn't see it) and a spoiler off a Tarmac Civic (barely touched it when trying to fix a crooked base by taking it apart). If you move them around by holding onto the top and bottom of the car they fare pretty well. Not any worse than some M2 with hood emblems and hood mounted mirror (M2 Japan) or taillights (many M2 pickups). Quality wise I'd say they are about equal. Both sometimes have small defects. Inno64 seems to sometimes have a flat wheel problem on some cars (they seem to be screwed down too hard on the base), but this sometimes gets better once freed from the base. QC is not at TLVs level, but better than US premium brands. You can unscrew them to fix base issues (same with Mini GT). I had a Tarmac Lancer with a bad crooked base and it was easily to fix once unscrewed. Inno64 often came with extra wheels and wheels swaps are easy. I don't really mind them not rolling. You can still move them around for photos etc. Many US premium brand cars roll so badly anyway. Plus, how do you get the stance of some of these correct and still have them roll good? Some of the Inno64s are slammed almost to the ground. That said Aoshima slammed cars still roll good. To loosely quote Travis (heavymetal164); "I'd rather have a static display with a correct stance, than a rolling car with a bad stance." I agree. I give the edge to Inno64 overall as they do more stock looking cars and more tasteful race decos. But many Tarmacs are awesome too. I wish Tarmac would do more stock colors on some of their models. They did one white BMW. And that was it. It is super pricey (been hunting it for 6 months). Maybe they got spooked by the stock color Civics selling poorly (surplusgoodies has awesome prices on these now), but they can just produce fewer. But overall TLVs are better. They feel better. They have better quality control. They are similarly priced. They roll and have suspensions. They make more real cars (this is my personal bias). That said, I love Inno64 and Tarmac. Tarmac is coming out with a Road64 series with wagon and SUVs and pickups. Now that is something I can get behind.

Nice video, I only buy diecast where the wheels roll, I just think that's how it should be! That said, they are nice, lots of detail. Thanks for sharing!...Bill

To say that it is better because it rolls is to be a little boy, but seeing that hotwheels collect those who say they prefer tarmac, it is normal, they are children. The best is inno, better to fit, more accurate scale, and lower prices, it has no competition

both are exellent brands and cars. Sometimes tarmac works have big sale like 50% off. I usually wait for that and when they have a sale then they have the same price point as tomica premium cars

Dude I'm with you about rolling, cars roll. That's why we want them to roll!! at least that's why I won't buy one that doesn't roll.

Inno doesn't roll but I did a little modification for it to roll. And Inno also have disc brakes like Tarmac Works.

Some Inno models can roll but not that great as the tyres aren't circular.

@@traviswalker8933 yes but most INNOs doesn’t the only inno model i have that rolls out of the gate is the Lancer Evo3, my integras, civics and others doesn’t but I did made them roll after a few adjustments.

@@voodoodiecast what adjustments did you make? I'm curious and I'd apply them on other static models should I decide to get them.
@voodoodiecast
@voodoodiecast 3 года назад
@@traviswalker8933 the biggest problem is their stance, they’re too low to the ground on which the tires touches the wheel well. Open it up seperate the base from the body. The interior piece is the one placing the axles so I added a layer just enought so the tires doesn’t touch the wheel well when assembled back in. Don’t make it too thick it might ruin the stance and enough for the two screws to hold them back in. I might do a video about it.

Really nice models both of them. That Inno64 Toyota Corolla looks great, although not to be touched alot as your video demonstrated. But i give my best vote to the Supra for this vid. The lack of wheel rolling doesn't bother me much as these are meant to be static models really. But it's a nice bonus if they do roll like theTarmac does. Thanks for the detailed presentation!

If that Eight Six rolled off the shelf it would be in a gajillion pieces so... can kind of see why. It looks great. Hard to say which one is better. And they look absolutely awesome parked next to each other. Add in Hot Wheels' HRS liveried R32 from the recent car culture and bam! Holy trinity of cool liveries haha.

Idk I've always had rolling diecasts hotwheels greenlight etc, but what i do not like the most from a diecast is how the wheels could move out horizontally when one just hangs them in the air slanted, and they're found mostly in hotwheels. So rn I'm curious to find out whether or not i dig the fixed/static/non-rollable wheel diecasts - just ordered the same inno64 86 as shown in here. Think I'm just gonna play with the inno 86 and superglue back any fallen pars LOL.

For inno64 some roll some don't..The few tarmac I have had qc issues hopefully they sort that out. For me no issues with inno64 yet, at the end of the day I would pick them over tarmac. Awesome review btw 👍👍!

Thank you sir. For me right now they are both pretty nice. Tarmac does a few more replicas that are cars I like. As far as the new to the scene brands go I’m actually really digging miniGT from a construction standpoint over both of these brands.

Inno64 is like a 1:43 scale high end resin model. The base even replicates those, as well as the acrylic cover. Wheels don’t roll, delicate photo etched pieces, yet highly detailed... purely for display. I love my 1:43 scale resins, they are incredibly detailed and beautiful to look at but in 1:64 scale that concept doesn’t work for me... I like them to roll, look at them in my hands, they’re more tactile at that scale. For me the Tarmac Works wins this face off! Cheers

Inno and tarmac both offers different cars but inno is better in terms of, they allow you to customise the car such as including a different wheel set with the model as well as water decals to design the car to your style whereas for tarmac works what you see is what you get. Pay more for their new wheels set or thats it. Hence inno is cheaper than tarmac works but not saying you should stay away from tarmac works since both makers provides different type of cars such as the honda fd2 for inno and popular honda fk8 for tarmac works.
