I’m a delivery driver for work. I’m on the road all day. Literally today I was talking out loud about how hallelujah means praise God and how everything in the song hallelujah is anything but holy and worthy of connecting to God. I talk to myself a lot and pray to God a lot while I’m driving and today this came out out of nowhere. And I’m watching this video tonight preparing dinner and you guys bring up hallelujah. That is God talking to me and trying to get my attention. Praise God. This is all real. God bless your ministry.
I used to only half-joke that as long as the radio works, the car is good. I had to listen to the radio all the time while in the car. Lately, I've found it better to have the radio off completely, even from the contemporary Christian stations.
As someone who's currently a DJ and grew up listening to Christian and secular music, I can tell you, a lot of the artists in the Christian world I'd listen to growing up are now doing really messed up things. Artists like Hillsong, Kirk Franklin, Israel Houghton (this one hurt when I saw what he's been up to lately), Maverick City, Tasha Cobbs Leonard (super compromised). In the Christian Latin world, Jesus Adrian Romero has been a major disappointment. Lecrae became something else but won't be quick to judge. The point I'm trying to say is that we need to stop classifying songs as Christian and secular because we have no idea what those composers are channeling to make the music they make. We are not in the studio with those artists. My take is, listen to whatever you want to because finding out your favourite Christian artist is a fraud is more painful than listening to a secular song where they're at least honest about the life they're living. There is more deception in Christian music because we let our guard down when it comes to people on a pulpit for some strange reason. We should be more vigilant with those who step onto a pulpit because they're the ones who are supposed to be setting the example of what Christians should be like since they're technically in a leadership position. Dont let your guard down with our fellow Christians and also, don't put anyone on a pedestal because humans will always let you down, Yeshua will not.
When you get into a close and honest relationship with Jesus you start to understand the bad of this world and there's a strong desire to obey God and to glorify him. Very quickly you feel uncomfortable listening secular music because you know it's not honoring the Lord
@@adaylateandadollarshort2971 He didn't mentioned Michael W. Smith however it's true that some people label their music as Christian music and it lacks of a biblical base, it's simple repeating basic words and with the new movement of worship where they want to create and experience to make you feel good and leaving behind the true meaning of worship which is give the glory to God. If you read some lyrics from Elevation Worship, Bethel, Maverick and so on and on you will realize that they have change and it's not the same essence from the beginning it's more for the likes and views and they started Removing the name of God, Jesus or Lord and sound more like a love song. To me, it was sad to see how from king and country doesn't sound the same and they were more interested on hitting the charts with songs that sounds positive, but leaving a bit behind the glory God which is something that we are call to do, in everything that we do give glory to him. So, I agree even if something or someone claim to be Christian we have to read the lyrics first and test it because if we are about to be singing those songs we have to remember that we have power with our words as well.🤗
As a former unsaved rock fan, Im so thankful Lord protected me from Zeppelin & company. His effeminate, creepy voice and animal howling was always big problem for me but ALL my friends loved him. Same loathing of Beatles that I was mocked for, couldn’t explain why, but just disliked them & thought wildly overated. Whenever someone is WILDLY popular, something is wrong-run!
Verse illustrating your point. Luke 16:15 [15]And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
When she was alive, my mom (RIP) was a huge Beatles fan, but as a kid the song Imagine always bothered me. Imaginee there's no Heaven?!? So, what, do whatever you want?... Idk, it always disturbed me.
One of the first things that happened to me when after I got saved was, I was repulsed by the music I had been listening to for decades. I threw it all in the trash and deleted my entire iTunes library, it took the Holy Spirit to open my eyes and heart.
Interesting. That did not happen to me at all. Now that I think about it, I have lost interest in a couple of albums I used to love, but I think they just got old to me after 20 years. ;)
About 9 years ago I was at an AC/DC concert and the Holy Spirit told me to look around , you don't belong here. I stopped drinking that day and stopped listening to all this crap music, last week I got baptized. Thank you Jesus!!
I won’t listen to music without knowing exactly what the lyrics are. If I can’t sing the lyrics without conviction of the Holy Spirit then it’s a no. And I KNOW my Bible. I know what Gods word says. I’ve read it and I know the truth. It’s the only way to not be deceived!! Let me add…. I was supernaturally healed from a lifetime of severe depression and anxiety. God CLEARLY spoke to me and the Holy Spirit gave me discernment about what I listened to and what I watched. It was absolutely imperative in order to maintain my healing that I do not listen to the exact music you’re talking about. It’s no joke friends. I wouldn’t give up my peace and joy for ANYTHING, especially music or movies. It’s not worth it!! I threw out and deleted so much music! Praise God!!! I’m finally free!! 🙏🏼❤️✝️✝️🥰🙏🏼
I would like to be able to forget old songs but they come to the mind and go on repeat, like all the time, nonstop. Even when I wake up out of sleep. There doesn't seem to be any way of stopping it.
0:20 that’s exactly why I don’t listen to secular music on purpose anymore. I hear it at work and the beat gets me and I realize quickly I’m loving the satanic beat 🥴
@@49erJoe classic rock and the sixties era rock is all centered around drugs and occultism, especially with the new age hippy movement that shook the world. And you have ex hippies now that are Christians who testify against the drug movement and occult trends in then sixties.
I was born in 67 so I’ve probably listened to many if not all songs. I loved Led Zeppelin and had the words of stairway to heaven on my paper covered text book in 6th grade. I had many of their albums. I was saved at 11 but I don’t think I had the capacity to think that through but I remember feeling odd with many rock songs. Especially the progressive rock I loved so much. That’s just one song. One group. Listening to it played backwards blew my mind! I thought it was a falsehood. Wow. Praise God for allowing me to see what He needs me to see. God bless your ministry
@@cherylmusgrove7 there was Highway to Hell about going to hell by AC/DC which is still popular today and the lead singer died after swallowing his own puke in a drunken, comatose state. That song was definitely cursed.
I remember as a teen wanting to be just like Sandi Patti. But things happened in my life that sent me on a different path. Later, when Sandi got a divorce, I felt bad for her, but stopped following her music because she lied to us about the causes. Even when the truth finally came out, I just couldn't go back to her. But much more recently, when I heard her sing a duet on a "Christian" radio station, I was horrified. It was Disney's "A Whole New World"! And today, this is still on Gaither's Y/T channel (I just checked)! I thanked God that He had not allowed me fame or fortune. Now I mostly sing in hospitals and nursing homes with a community gospel choir. Fun, Fun! Praise the Lord!
George Harrison found JESUS CHRIST as the truth before he died. Hallelujah. At least he said after looking dt all those relegions said he believed JESUS was real. Or so. I pray he gave his soul to JESUS our Savior.
Wow. These are the best of Good Fight and why i subscribed in the first place. God Bless Pastor Joe and his ministry reaching us “anti-establishment” types. From a hippie wannabe to a Christian. Jesus Christ is the reason, but Pastor Joe pointed the way!!
I was also a huge Led Zeppelin fan as a kid, especially Jimmy Page. He was my inspiration to learn guitar. Then i discover his involvement with the occult and living in Aleister Crowley's home. All the satanic symbolism in the music. Really disappointing, but the devil deceives us.
John Todd said that the master tapes of all pop music are sent to The Church of Satan to have spells cast over them so that demons would follow those that bought it. He said that Satan's ultimate goal is to have Rock music infiltrate the Church & it already has. Christian Contemporary music sounds like second rate Rock or R&B. Rod Parsley during one of his television appearances had his musicians playing Van Halen's "Jump" during what was supposed to be Praise & Worship. This music effects people mentally & behaviorally whether they want to believe it or not. Everyone wants to believe that the music that they listened to in their youth was somehow cleaner & innocent. It's not. Satan's biggest trick is making the masses believe he doesn't exist.
Exactly! Satan is a deceiver! Before I truly gave my life to Jesus, I listened to all types. I listened mostly to rock and roll and some country. One day when I was standing in a chair making home made curtains, I guess I was focused on the curtains and just listening to the words of the song and Jesus showed me what I was listening to and had been singing to all these years. The song was called Sympathy for the Devil. I remember like it was yesterday, I jumped off the chair, dropped the curtains, and ran to the radio and un plugged it and I still turned it off even though i unplugged it because I didn’t want any portal to be opened. I fell on my knees and asked Jesus to be my Savior! I listened and watched they sold their souls for rock and roll and now even with June, my mind listens to the words before I can even sing to them!
I don't listen to any secular music. It's so hard when I am in the store and hear old tunes I used to love. It's a battle not to sing along! Music is very powerful!
I go to the Goodwill or other store and CAN'T STAND the secular music and that they play it SO LOUD... I can sometimes barely concentrate on what I'm supposed to be doing!
I find it sad that we don't hear these messages in local churches today. They'd be considered too "controversial" and would probably offend many of those listening to the messages
Wow! I’m amazed again at how blind I was to the lyrics I so often sang. I never realized all the lyrics to “Hallelujah.” I’m so glad I’ve been saved and that the scales have been removed. Praise the Lord! Now I get to sing songs about my redeeming Savior and his holiness and the power in the blood!!
Thank you for sharing this ❤ After i watched "They Sold Their Souls" I couldn't listen to secular music any more. I was a huge music fan my whole life. I am 53 now and was a die hard heavy metal/hair metal band fan. Now it completely disturbs my spirit. No more secular music for me!
Did you know 'They Sold Their Soul For Rock and Roll has 4 episodes? I don't listen to most music anymore. It's corrupted by the evils of our fallen world.
That's great! I'm just curious, do you ever still feel the temptation to listen to the old songs you used to love? Or has the desire completely gone away too? X
@@Goodfight7 I honestly don't miss it at all. I can't believe that I called myself a follower of Christ and listened to it! I went to the concerts and ALWAYS had music on before. I do feel guilty because I taught my children to love that music. It's not easy getting them to understand just how wrong I was about it. I'm trying to get them to watch "They Sold Their Souls" I have sent them the links and now I just pray that they will watch them. It peeled the scales from my eyes completely and I am so thankful!
Interestingly, I found out the truth about "Hallelujah" through a Brazilian Pastor (female) and she also explained the dangers of not paying attention to the songs you're listening to. At the end of the day sometimes not even "Gospel Music" is safe to listen to
I listened to them a long time ago before I was a Christian - Jimmy Page was full blown into the occult and even bought Aleister Crowley’s house and lived in it. It’s disturbing to say the least..
I was singing that song by George Harrison, "My Sweet Lord" years ago thinking it was Jesus Christ but I listened to it again and he was singing "Hare Krishna". Hopefully, he did seek Jesus before he died.
When you understand that lucifer was the head worship leader in heaven, like you mentioned, it totally makes sense that he would use that to gain worship for himself.🤷♀️

The song “Hotel California “ really creeps me out. I think you guys did a video on The Eagles. Funny how this is considered “soft rock” when it’s nothing but promotion of satanic worship. Sad.
You just got yourself another subscriber, brother. Thank you both for sharing that. I really need to get closer to God and spend some serious time in the word. Spending time with the Lord is much more beneficial for me than listening to perversions, blasphemies and doctrines of demons described in these songs. Thanks for the heads up. God bless.
Your comment led me eventually to Dream Weaver's Wikipedia page. I had no idea that song was inspired by the book Autobiography of a Yogi, which had been given to Gary Wright by George Harrison. Or that Wes Craven himself cited Dream Weaver as the inspiration for the concept behind his movie A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I’m afraid that some of the Christian artists I listen to might not have good intentions. I can’t tell the difference, but I will continue to pray for discernment 🙏🏽
What’s your opinion on classical/neoclassical? And which gospel artists are to be recommended? I have written some spiritual songs myself but have no way to put them to music.
Listening to secular music doesn't necessarily detract from you glorifying God and if you like a song its not an issue at all. Wearing name brand clothing can be considered just as bad for example... cheap slave labor, idolizing the brand, wasting good money on overpriced items, etc. Don't become too legalistic in your thinking. Just be smart about it. Otherwise, where do you draw lines regarding literally everything else that's not of God or biblically based?
I am not aware of any other ministry so involved in exposing the darkness behind the music and film industry like Good fight and Pastor Joe. Very grateful for your work. God bless!
I am so grateful the Lord delivered me from all this in 1980 when I was Born Again .all through the 70s went to most all of these concerts ,had their music in my house .I am Sooooo thankful.
Discernment has definitely been kicking in with music lately for me. It’s hard for me to listen to most of it any more. It amazes me how much there is like these. 😢
I had 30.000 songs on my Itunes. Now around 9000. So imagine how many songs and bands I carefully researched and analyzed and threw away. Not easy because music gets tied to emotions and good past experiences! Just listen to the lyrics, the whole catalogue of the band, the cd covers, videos and draw your conclusions if its anti God or not. No sexual, lustful, occult, sexist, or violent music anymore.
5:25 wowwww I actually liked that song but had no clue what the lyrics were!😱 now I’m a Christian I deleted ALL my songs i paid for from iTunes and i had a good few hundred! I’m way too scared to have any music playing now so I only have gospel/worship music and even then I’m careful with them too. I used to listen to 90's alt music all day and all night I knew EVERY song . I now avoid it like the plague. It's pull in me to use when listening to that music is the closest I came to using since being clean. This music does something to your soul that is NOT what God wants for us . I can promise you there is something very demonic in it . A gain thank you for all you do I love your videos .
It does it to me too. Winds me up so much I want to drink. It's crazy the affect music has on me but now I recognize it's true power, and don't listen anymore
These guys are on point. I've seen vides where they are playing music like this in church....where they are suppose to be glorifying God, but instead they are glorifying the devil. The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 2 Timothy 2:19
I've heard that some churches have performed Don't Stop Believing by Journey in their praise and worship service. How does Christ get the glory in a song about two perfect strangers hooking up and spending the night together?
*_The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:_* *_The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:_* *_The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace._* *_Numbers_* 6:24-26- *_KJB_*
At around 22mins, when mentioning hozier, I agree theres actually alot of anger in that song and them the olypmics, their blasphemy of the Last Supper, again it reminded more of a Lust supper, the spirit of lust, defile and perversion being released (and accepted) even more into and by the world...😢
The British Invasion was brought forth by the Tavistock Institute, which uses MK Ultra. The Stones, Beatles, Who, were designed to influence, and demoralize, the culture in the US. I’d say they did a fair job, unfortunately.
My eyes were opened in high school to back-masking from another similar documentary to yours, and to this day, it puts the fear of the Lord in me. Clearly demonic. So thankful for ministries like this. I've been out of this music for so long that I sometimes forget so many Christians are still being deceived by it. Thank you for the reminder.
We need to be selective about what enters our soul and spirit, but even secular arts have the ability to direct us to God. It is important to know truth but not to live in fear. The Holy Spirit gives us discernment.
My favorite band of all time is Jimmy Eat World. They are a secular band that has a positive message. The song "the middle" was a response to a teen girl that wrote into them saying about how she was being bullied and having a hard time. The song is about not listening to the people trying to tear you down and give you a hard time. It will pass, and it will get better
We are the Temple of God, we need to keep ourselves clean. May God be merciful on these people, to use them, to help them turn to Him, and to Salvation before is way too late. May Jesus sustain us all with His Mighty Mercy and Salvation until That One Mighty Day☦🇷🇴☦🙏🏻🛐🪔😇☦👑
I am going to add one more to the list. The song called, "Spirit In The Sky". If you have to read the lyrics to the song, you will read what's it all about.
Thank you so very much for this. On occassion on Saturdays when i do deep house cleaning, i would put on a 70's station cause i thought it would be safe. Barry Manilow as well as others! My God!!!!

@@patricehedrick553 I don’t miss it at all. It repulses me now. When I got saved, it was like God shined the light on all the filth I was putting into my heart and my head. It was influencing me to live a very ungodly lifestyle. And it was rubber stamping everything that was dragging me to hell. See it as the spiritual poison that it is. Quite honestly I don’t think there’s any secular music that’s really harmless. the composer, Johann Sebastian Bach stated that music really only should be meant to glorify God. Coming out of what I came out of, I could not agree with him more. It is a very dangerous and slippery slope when you start using music to glorify anything or anyone , but God.

I remember when George Harrison’s “My Sweet Lord” came out and millions of ignorant Christians embraced it as a Jesus song when it was a song dedicated to lord Krishna, A FALSE GOD. This was around the time of the”Jesus Movement” and many Christians were deceived. Another song was Brewer & Shipley’s “One Toke Over the Line” because it had the words “sweet Jesus” in it and a lot of ignorant people didn’t have a clue it was a song about being stoned on pot.
God bless your ministry. I loved Hallelujah because Pentatonix sang it and ao beautifully. I am a songwriter and singer and i was fooled. Your channel has opened my eyes when I thought that I was cognizant of these songs.
They studied the effect of music on the human condition. Freezing ice crystals - heavy metal music froze as spiked and jagged formations; indulgers of it were known to have a prolific use of black clothes and sullen expressions. Classical music like Mozart or Bach for example, the ice crystals froze with smooth, petal like patterns.
I wasn’t surprised at what you’ve pointed out. I personally can’t stand Imagine Dragons “Believer” and you’ve pointed out why. I’ve always felt that there was a false feeling of empowerment coming from that song. And the line in the OutKast song shows that these people know what they’re doing and that there’s an agenda: a spiritual one.
Anthony Cordero, former warlock working with musicians, pointed out that many songs from top artists like Beyonce, Hector Lavoe, etc have lyrics and music sampled from incantations and ritual music. The industry is full of it.
I’m 6 decades in life. THANK YOU JESUS. Most of us were fooled because honestly no one knew the meat lyrics. They knew the song and the main refrain but deeper in we all made our own words to the music. The devils tacit back then ❤🙏🏿🇺🇸

I'm sick to my stomach. I've sung so many of those songs, especially while driving places. I heard in the 80s another one bites dust said it's fun to smoke mj backwards, but had no idea stairway to heaven said these things. May Jesus forgive my ignorance.
Even when the lyrics aren't satanic, they're STILL glorifying the artist and making them an object of idolatrous worship. Always ask yourself, who is this song glorifying? 🤷
I‘d say this depends on the type. Instrumental music certainly can be demonic too, see techno, but I do not see anything wrong with listening to Beethoven
Yes, since I started following Jesus it's so hard to look at these pics people who completely idolize themselves and want everyone else to idolize them too. It's really sickening
The fact the Cohen song "Hallelujah" is in the movie Shrek should make it obvious the song isn't truly Christian. Hollywood hasn't allowed any references to Christ in a popular movie in decades. If he is mentioned it's only to mock Him.
When you get into a close and honest relationship with Jesus you start to understand the bad of this world and there's a strong desire to obey God and to glorify him. Very quickly you feel uncomfortable listening secular music and popular music with lyrics not honoring the Lord. Do not glorify or enjoy sinful lyrics. I never knew the words to many songs… now I do.
I never thought the song "Hallelujah" was a happy Christian song glorifying God. I always thought it was a sad song about how easy a woman's beauty can seduce a man that ultimately creates his fall. For example, Samson and Delilah/ David and Bethsheba.
It wasn't her beauty that seduced King David. It was his wonton lust that and series of poor choices that led to his downfall. Bathsheba was an innocent victim. What do you think would have happened to her if she had refused the King?
@@Hawaiiansky11 Well she wasn't a troll thats for sure.. Scripture states that David saw her bathing and thought she was beautiful. So yes it was her beauty that made him feel lustful. And we don't know if Bathsheba tried to refuse David. It says nothing of it but reading scripture it tells us that David was a Godly king/man. If Bathsheba didn't want to sleep with him I dont think David would have forced himself on her. I believe they equally committed adultery.
The closest sounding heavenly choir music is Gregorian chant music, that is truly what heaven's praise to the Holy Trinity must sound like, so soothing, calming Beautiful and magestic!!
There is also country music that is not appropriate , a lot of people I know listening to country music is safe because it is perceived as wholesome and down home music, but if you stop and listen to it a lot of it’s about adultery having affairs and doing things against Gods will.
I well remember when my teenage sons tried to convince me that Imagine Dragons was a Christian band and that song you played by them was a good song that young people who are lost can relate to and it can help them find Jesus. I disagreed with them but could not change their minds. They did the same thing with other singers and all I could do was pray that they would see the truth.
Discern the Christian music industry too. There’s a relationship there and it’s being corrupted. Dig a little, won’t take much. If we’re going to say God is either everything or nothing, and we’re going to establish that Lucy is threaded throughout the music industry, and we’re going to affirm that humans are either led by Jesus or they are let by demons, then let’s expose the whole thing guys. Please keep up the good work.
I remember back in the 80’s when the backward masking was a thing, I never listen to my records backwards. I was too afraid to scratch them. It’s bad enough to listen to them forward.

I was driving listening to the radio a few days ago and Christina Aguilera - Genie in a bottle came on and whilst we're on the subject of songs with deeper demonic meanings pay close attention to what the song is really saying. It's literally talking about submitting to a demon.

My uncle who claims to be very Christian told me secular music is on because his pastor says so...he proceeded to tell me him and his pastor played hotel California at the church...like come on that song is about checking into hell...how is that appropriate for church.
