It's been 12+ years since I the original version of this video, I've been meaning to "remaster" it with some minor changes for quite some time but given that I've moved onto other things in life I thought I would just do a simple re-render at 1080P. Enjoy!

An arranged battle is a choreographed fight scene created using the various animations found in the game. By editing and cutting these animations, the illusion of an actual battle is given.

Playing the Z2 series in college and stumbling across your arranged battles was one of the coolest times of my life. Series hasn't felt this good since.

Super Robot Wars (スーパーロボット大戦 Sūpā Robotto Taisen, also known as Super Robot Taisen), commonly abbreviated as SRW and SupaRobo (スパロボ), is a series of tactical role-playing video games produced by the Japanese gaming company, Banpresto, a division of Bandai Namco. Starting out as a spinoff of the Compati Hero Series, the main feature of the franchise is having a story that crosses over several popular mecha anime, manga and video games, allowing characters and mecha from different titles to team up or battle one another. The first game in the franchise was released for the Nintendo Game Boy on April 20, 1991, later spawning numerous games that were released on various consoles and handhelds. Due to the nature of crossover games and licensing involved, only a few games have been released outside Japan, mainly from the Original Generation games, which only feature Banpresto's own original characters and mecha.
