The beautiful town of Innsbruck. Nestled in the Alps with a river which runs through it. You can hear the water running at night time if you live by the riverbanks. The food is unbelievably good if you know where to go and what to order. The people seem happy and healthy. They run and do all kinds of outdoors stuff. In the winter, it's a skiing paradise. The ladies are quite pretty there too! Woohoo! I would live here if I had the money and opportunity.
I had a great time shooting and editing this video. Cocteau Twins music just seemed perfect for this piece.

Perfect music for this video. Many years ago I was riding a train from Italy to Munich and I awoke at 7am to look outside at two feet of new fallen snow and clear blue skies in the Alps. A stunning sight I will never forget. Innsbruck is truly beautiful.

Visited Innsbruck this summer. A dream came true. I traveled trough Switzerland and Austria, and I visited seven cities. Innsbruck was the most beautiful city.

I was there for a few hours over the february half term and while it was not snowing there was some snow settled down there and I can tell you it is very peaceful when there is snow.

I know Innsbruck well but now I am in Australia and I miss it that is Innsbruck! I liked the Alpenzoo and easy free life. I was there with my brother and my wife, so I still remember it all! To work there did not interest me I wanted to see more of the world and I did. Austrian hospitality is so good that you should be close to heaven or it does not want or need you yet! So go on!

You will love the visit! Go up to the Hütte (huts - restaurants) on the mountain and eat there...every single one has good food.

When I was there, I couchsurfed. So I don't know any cheap places. Hostels are usually affordable though. couch surfing then a dot then a com is where you want to visit if you are interested in this culture.

I would certainly want to live here for all my days if I were allowed to. I ate at the Golden Dach Restaurant a couple of times, some Kebab and the Pizza place. Some Turkish folks made the pizza, but it was taste in any case. My next video is on Venice...it will take another month to do since I have to work on other jobs at the same time.

@lemmonorange68 - walk up the mountain trail past the Alpen Zoo. Enjoy those quaint wooden bridges and creeks. Then you can come down and ride the up the mountain in the cable car and enjoy the view from above. To treat yourself, go eat at one of the restaurants located on the mountain itself. Any of the mountain restaurants are delicious. It the city restaurants you have to do research on.

You're right about the vending machine coffee tasting better than Starbucks coffee. In Austria in general I had the best coffee, even better than Italy or Paris. Vienna, Bregenz, Innsbruck, Vorau...good coffee everywhere and much better food than Germany, Italy, or France from my experience.

@artemiscarrington In december it's propably snowing in tyrol. if you wanna see green (or the sound of music hills around salzburg) then you have to go to austria any other time than wintertime, pal! in winter nearly everybody goes skiing or snowboarding. regards dave (ex axams-citizen)

@luvsharma1 - There are night trains to most places in Europe. September will be cold. Austria is one of the more expensive countries to visit...but worth it. Summer is wonderful, but super expensive to fly there from the States.

@2006kcl - ride a bike up the mountain trails and drink from the fountains in the mountains--that's actual fresh cooling Alpine water. Go eat at any of the restaurants on the mountains...they are all good. If you eat in the city, you'd better know where to go or else it's not so good. walk along the river banks. Ride the cable car and eat at the restaurant on top of the mountain that is in this video.
