You don’t know people’s financial situations so demanding a bill to be evenly split is not the way to go. I’m usually the one to put my card down, making sure the server is getting a minimum of 20%, then I do the math so no one feels uneasy about being forced to pay more than they budgeted

As a chef myself, I spend so much time on trying to make certain dishes an entire experience, from the smell, to the look, to the taste. It warms my heart to hear Matt’s respect for trying to keep the food how the chefs intend it to be eaten. Thank you so much ❤

I used to work at a restaurant owned and operated by a chef with multiple years of experience in fine dining, she would do the same exact thing that Erin said the chef at the jewish restaurant did. When people wanted something changed on their food she would always put it on the side and have them try it. 9 time out of 10 the customer ended up liking it

I was born and raised in NJ and left when I was 26 cause BF got a job in Oklahoma. We lived there for about a year and a half. No where near Tulsa, but I had visited. Saw the center of the universe and left lol but I fell in LOVE with OK. I adored it while we had the pleasure to be there.

I love this podcast but lately mike has been complaining so much! It’s funny for a second and then he goes on a sort of intense rant about how STUPID someone or something is or how much he HATES something, (Ex/ Elon, Logos) and there’s a ton of rage and passion behind these small rants, hope he’s okay lmao
